Q: What is FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE?

A: FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE lets you place an order on the Plow & Hearth web site, then pick it up at any Plow & Hearth store for FREE! In addition to saving you the cost of shipping charges and fees, FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE is a convenient option if you are unable to accept a delivery at your home or workplace, and a great way to ensure your order stays safe until you’re ready to pick it up.

Q: How can I have my order shipped to a Plow & Hearth store?

A: During the checkout process, we’ll check to see if your order qualifies for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE. If your order qualifies, “FREE Ship to Store” will appear as an option in your cart. At checkout, you will then need to:

1. Select the “FREE Ship to Store” button
2. Select the store where you would like the order shipped
3. Confirm your order details and complete your order

*This option can be selected only if all items in a single order are eligible for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE. In order to purchase additional items that are not eligible for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE, you will need to place a separate order.

Q: How can I tell if an item is eligible for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE?

A: “This item may be eligible for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE” will appear on the product description page for products that are eligible for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE to a Plow & Hearth retail store near you. “FREE Ship to Store” will also appear as an option for your order in your shopping cart.

Q: What shipping options are available for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE?

A: Online purchases are shipped to retail stores via Standard shipping. White Glove Delivery is not available for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE. Items shipped via Motor Freight may be eligible for FREE SHIP-TO-STORE SERVICE; please be sure to make prior accommodations for oversized items.

Q: How will I know my order is ready for pickup, and what will I need to claim it?

A: When your order has arrived at the store, you will receive an email letting you know it’s ready for pickup.* You may then pick your order up at any time – just find a store associate to help you, and make sure you bring your photo ID. If needed, an associate will help you to load your items into your vehicle.

*Please note that your order may arrive in more than one shipment. (Items may ship separately if your order contains items that are on backorder, items that ship direct from a manufacturer, items ship from more than one shipping facility, etc.) Your notification email(s) will indicate which items are ready for pickup. We ask that customers please arrange to pick up their items within two weeks subsequent to receiving a notification email.

Q: I haven't received my ‘Ready for Pickup’ email – what do I do?

A: An estimated pick-up date will appear for most items during checkout. If you do not receive an email notifying you that your order is ready for in-store pickup within 10 business days, please contact your local Plow & Hearth store to inquire about delivery.

Q: Can I change or cancel my order?

A: Once your order has been placed online, it cannot be modified. You may be able to change or cancel your order by contacting Customer Service at 1-800-494-7544 within 30 minutes after placing the order.

Q: Can I return my order to a store for a refund?

A: Yes. Items purchased online from Plow & Hearth may be returned to any Plow & Hearth retail store or by mail. (Please see our Returns & Exchanges Policy for details.)
