Fill the basin with about ¾" of fresh water; no need to fill completely, shallow water is best for bees. Place sand or real stones in the bottom to adjust water depth and prevent bee drowning. Basin will also attract birds and butterflies to help support your backyard habitat.
Place it on the ground in a shaded, protected area. Ceramic is easy to clean. For longest life, bring indoors during danger of frost.
