A Lovely Way To Keep Warm

Lovely and luxurious, pure lambswool is comfortable as a cardigan and warm as a jacket. The intricate micro-jacquard pattern in muted shades of grape, sage, pink, blue and green is soft and warm and makes the perfect outer layer for shopping, visiting or the office.

Long sleeves, zip front, plus rib-knit standup collar, cuffs and hem. 100% lambswool. Dry clean. Imported.

This sweater is suited for layering and it's certainly a good pal on a cold day. It's perfect with a turtleneck underneath; otherwise the neck might be itchy. I don't wear a lot of cardigans. But I bought this one because the colors looked really "wow" as pictured on the Plow & Hearth site. I am happy with the size, but quite disappointed that the colors are actually very toned down.

While I agree with the other reviewer that this sweater is cut a little small, the quality and color makes it a keeper. The length of the sleeve is near perfect for my rather short arms, so keep that in mind. I prefer a trimmer fit with a sweater of this quality, so I have the option of pairing it with a dressier pair of dark pants and don't want too loose of a fit. It also works with a pair of jeans and a plain colored top and the colors that can be paired with it are endless. This is a classic style that I'm sure I'll wear for years. The color and quality are exactly as promised.

This looked better in the picture than in person. The fit was way too small. I tried giving it to my mom who is much smaller than me and it fit her tight too. So I mailed it back. I liked that it was a zip up one but it really was kind of granny like. A hip granny but not as stylish as I expected. I think it is the fit that is to blame. I would order a much larger size as when it is skin tight it is just unflattering on everyone.
