The first one we bought was perfect. The second one had a 7 inch crack in the base but the side pieces were fine. This means it was put together broken and not noticed. They are from china so there are much lower quality standards but plow and hearth should check them also. Worst thing was the hidden $7 return fee...that's half the price of the item! The third one came with another 3 inch crack but I am not paying the return fee, so I am keeping it.

My sofa has very hide wide arms so I was unable to reach drinks, etc if I placed them on the end table. My coffee table works but I like to sit on the sofa with my computer in my lap, making it awkward to reach for items I placed there. This little table is the perfect solution.

I use this on my recliner and wherever else I might need it at the time. This table even works in my car on the arm rest, give it a try.

I was skeptical about the sturdiness of these clip tables, but without room for side tables, I decided to give them a try! I was surprised how strong the clips are so the tables stay in place and are strong enough to use to hold a drink. I bought two more to use in another room.

Bought this for my husband for using as a platform for his laptop mouse. He had been using the arm of the sofa because his laptop desk was too small to comfortably use the mouse and he didn't want a larger lap desk. I am very impressed with the quality. The "Legs" straddle the sofa arm by means of heavy duty spring hinges which are so strong it's a little scary and even dangerous to remove from the arm of the sofa. We warned our grandkids to not try to take it off for fear of pinching little fingers. These same hinges make a secure grip that works great at keeping the little table in place. Would like to see more color choices. We purchased maple and it's a beautiful light maple that looks like bird's eye maple. Good product! Highly recommend!

A nice idea, but our sofa and chair arms are too wide for this item. I gave it to my son for his apartment, and he seems to like it just fine (although I think the finish could've been a little nicer).

Great for places where an end table is impractible

It was a great idea, and we loved having it before it broke. But after two weeks the arm clip broke off. It was held on by tiny screws and glue to what looked like particle board. Would not recommend for furniture with large arms. It had a strong chemical smell when it came out of the box.

Great for a small space that end tables take up too much space. I have them on both ends of my small sofa for hubby and myself. Works for our drinks and snacks while we watch television in our Lil' Shack.

It looks great, well made, but it doesn't fit our sofa. We have a common style these days with curving arms...no where near fitting it. Sadly, will have to return, no use for it otherwise.

Would only recommend if the friends' couch or chair has narrow enough arms

Table does not fit on any couch arms in our home...it is much too small. Quality and appearance of the wood is less than expected.

I bought two of these tables in the cherry finish and am very happy with the quality and design. They are large enough for a cup of coffee and small snack or to hold remotes or a book. The layout of my living room does not accommodate an end table near two chairs and this product offered the perfect solution.

Flexible, can be used for lefty or righty. Wish it came in white or black or unfinished. Everyone that sees it loves it too. I just ordered 7 more for friends Christmas gifts, cheaper than a bottle of wine!

I purchased this on sort of a lark...it looked interesting and I thought it might actually work. Well, how did I ever live without it? It's very handy and it looks nice, too. I will probably never take it off the chair until I change the chair...at which point it would go onto the new chair. I am primarily using it for drinks...coffee, water, wine, beer, etc...and a magnifying glass, and a pen. It's great!

Bought this to use on either ends of sectional sofa. We do not have tables at the ends. This works well to hold glasses or cup of tea or whatever! Nice design, seems sturdy.

Ordered these in cherry to give to my parents. I was impressed with the quality and look once they arrived. Tried them on several sofa/chair arms in our house and their's and they fit well on every size. They will get a ton of use out of them, both in their home and RV. Thinking of ordering them for other family members.

The tray easily clipped on the couch arm and is very stable. I wanted room for a coffee cup and maybe a small plate. The tray is perfect for this.

Unfortunately there is a strong odor of varnish. I hope this goes away soon.

Purchased this for my husband to rest his beverage on. Was a little worried that the arms of our sofa might be too wide for the clip but it works just perfectly and he is delighted. Attractive design, good quality, great price. Doesn't wobble and also doesn't leave indentations in the sofa. Overall very pleased with this purchase.
