Beautiful fabric, nice shape on the chair, but we ordered two chairs and one rocked back and forth even though the legs were even. On that chair as the legs were being screwed on they splintered. The cushion on that chair was dented. So my experience with two of the "same" chairs was different. However, the customer service was awesome and they offered to replace the chair or just the legs at our choice. So considering the price it was a good value.

This chair was purchased to use every day in the family room. It is beautiful and expertly upholstered. The raisin fabric is very attractive. I do wish it came with extra arm coverings, though. Unfortunately, the seat cushion, although it looks thick enough, is not very supportive, and my husband, who sits in it every day, sinks in it. He's a big man, but not overweight. I recommend that this chair be used "decoratively" but not on a every day basis. It does not offer enough support for daily use. I suppose such an economical chair does not have the firmest of materials.

This is a very sturdy chair. We live at 7500 ft in the mountains on a dirt road. We took the pickup truck to the UPS depot in town to pick up the chair. It was a very windy day, gusts up to 50 MPH. The chair was [...] put snugly into the back of the truck up next to the cab. On I25 on the trip home, a gust of wind (maybe 40-50mph) picked the chair up and hurled it into the air over the interstate and then the chair dropped onto the highway. My husband and I pulled over, snatched the box from the traffic lane and put it back into the truck. When we got home, that was only a small wear mark on the corner of the back of the chair where the box/chair skidded across the highway. I was able to repair the small tear in the fabric. The chair is now one of our favorites.

It took a long time for me to find the wingback armchairs I wanted to replace my two wingbacks that have become ratty from long use. I like the Plow & Hearth wingback's style, choice of fabrics, comfort, and construction.
