I've been looking in antique stores and thrift shops for about a month for the perfect book shelf with glass doors and I was surprised to finally find it here, online. Assembly wasn't neccessarily hard but it took a long time and was certainly much easier with an extra set of hands. The description says that only the middle shelf is fixed and the others are adjustable but the top, middle, and bottom shelves are actually all fixed. You can only adjust the top middle and bottom middle shelves. The finish is a darker, less red cherry than in the picture which I like a lot better. Overall I'm very pleased with my new bookself.

This is a beautiful media cabinet. It was difficult for two senior citizens to assemble, but we managed. We have it in our family room. All in all, I love it but it was a pain to put together.
