Easy to assemble. We live in an independent retirement community and do a little gardening, as we have three patios. We store our small garden tools, extra potting soil, etc. in this box on our covered patio. We are very please with the color, size and function.

Don't let the picture fool you as the box is not white. You need to clarify that it is beige in the description. Otherwise, I liked the box and was easy to put together.

Sadly, it is too small to hold my outdoor furniture cushions but I can use it to store other yard and garden items. It's nice looking and blends well with other deck furniture. I plan to buy a cushion for the top and use it for extra seating.

Top hinges hooked to back panel in a reversed position. Had to unhook the hinges and reverse top. not easy to do without tearing the hinges.

To reiterate another review: this product is nothing like the picture. I ordered the small one, thinking it was white. It is beige and obviously plastic. It looks like a glorified Tupperware box. I am surprised. I expected better from Plow & Hearth. I will be returning this.

While this "bench" has the potential to be useful storage space, it looks nothing like the picture (which suggests a white, wood-looking structure with sides resembling wainscoting). In actuality, it is a beige, clearly plastic-looking box. I generally trust Plow and Hearth to offer products with more character, detail, and quality than those that can be found at other larger retail stores--but this bench falls well short in all respects.

I like the storage box because it is an easy way to store my kid's outdoor toys and can be used as a seat. It is easy to clean and can withstand lots of opening and closing. Since it can be used with, I would have liked some suggestions on what cushions fit. I bought a cushion to go with it but the cushion has ties and there is no place on the box to attach it. Other than that, we get a lot of use with the storage box.

Our patio area was quickly becoming cluttered with garden gloves and shoes, tools, rose chemicals and similar items. This storage box keeps all the little things in one convenitent place all while adding an extra seat. Definitely worth the purchase if you have lots of small items cluttering your patio or porch.
