I hadn't read the description very carefully I guess as I was surprised to get the little branch the fairy sits on as part of the order. It solves a problem that I was having on where to put her close to the door and furniture that I also got. I wanted to make sure she would be seen and the nearest tree branch was too high with too many leaves. This is a great set.

This one is my favorite of the 2. They are a nice little suprise when you find them in the garden. I think the limb she is sitting on is somewhat fake looking and the wing will break if dropped on hard surface. But I love them

I got the fairies as a set to attach to a maple tree, right outside our kitchen window. Like some other people have stated, I got some that the fairies themselves were very dark, a charcoal grey, almost black, not exactly the same color as pictured. I had to lighten them up to a light stone grey color with acrylic paint, to make them look more like the picture.
They are also a bit on the small side, but once they are lighter, they show up much better. I like the wings very much, they let a golden, almost magical light shine through which is appropriate for fairies. I did think that for the cost, they shouldn't have to be fixed up before using. But over all they are very sweet in an outdoor garden.

Place the fairies overlooking the Elfin door & windows and the fairy village for a magical addition to your garden. Our grandchildren LOVE it, hidden away in a secluded but still visible location. Everyone know fairies "turn to stone" when humans are around, so the color works for me. I've created lifelong, happy memories for our whole family. Even the adults are enjoying the fun & I've added the turtle stool and larger fairies holding lanterns to complement the ambiance. The only problem I've had is the wind blowing the fairy down. Otherwise they hold up well in rainstorms.

I got these as a christmas gift for my mother in law who loves fairies and she loved them! I wish they were a bit bigger but she was happy with the size. She has decided to mount them on either side of her bedroom mirror so she can enjoy them more than if they were outside.

I like the angels as garden accents. They are a little small to be noticed and I am not sure how they hold up during our winter months

I am an artist and have a good supply of acrylic paint so I had no problem adding additional color to the fairy. I placed her on an oak tree on a path in the back yard and she was such a hit that two of my friends ordered some as gifts. I later purchased six more which I will give a gifts to loved ones.

This is a precious item. I bought both the reading and kissing fairy for my grandaughter BUT the wings were broken on arrival and I CANNONT GET A RESPONSE FROM PLOW & HEARTH (your phone wait time is 535 minutes & an automated e-mail response (for both e-mail attempts, over a week ago. I'm sure this will be deleted or edited at least.

Love the whimsy look of fairy in my plum tree on my patio. The translucent wings are a nice touch. Had to lighten the color of fairy for it to be seen more readily. The original color of fairy was too dark for it to be noticed. It is now an eye catcher and much easier to be seen. It sits in a high tree limb of the same tree I use your elf door on. Love your products!

The fairy I received was almost a black color, blending too much into the dark brown branch. The wings, which I thought would be transparent, looked dirty and full of specs and you could barely see light through them. I was very disappointed.

I used this item in a fairy/mini-garden and stuffed it into the ground of a raised bed. I did not utilize the picture hook hole in the back. It's perfect for what I needed it for, and is a nice surprise for those who pay attention to detail. It would not be so great in a faraway location as the colors may blend into the natural surroundings and may disappear as size is small at 4 x 6.
