My door to the kitchen is directly off the walkway and steps with no overhang for protection.....I have a different waterhog in the same color for outside and this runner which I use crosswise across the doorway in my very tiny kitchen. Love it so far !

My dogs were wreaking havoc on the hardwood hallway running from the kitchen to the bedroom. After drinking from their water bowl in the kitchen they head out dribbling onto the wood. Any rug in their way got pushed along. Until, that is, I put down this runner. It does not move, absorbs water and vacuums clean.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
