Comments about Product: I was super excited to finally get these shoes and when I got them I tried them on and was disappointed how tight they felt. I have a pretty narrow fort and these boots felt too narrow and they were too tight across the base of my toes when I walked. I thought they would stretch out or get more comfortable as I wore them but I could only tolerate a half hour of the discomfort. Bottom line is I am sending them back.
Comments about Product: Fast delivery. I am very pleased with this purchase thus far. I would order from your store again. I cannot wait until you get the Ugg caspia chocolate in a size 8 at this price.
Comments about Product: Looked at these boots for a long time and finally made the purchase. They are great! Ordered the next size up from my usual sizing and they fit good with a winter sock. I shouldn't have waited so long to discover these wonderful boots.
Comments about Product: This is my second pair of Chocolate UGG boots. I also have them in black suede but the suede is wearing out. I wear my boots almost every day. They go great with casual clothes. They have better support than the traditional UGG boot, however they do run small so I had to go up a size. I wear them with orthotics because they fit better and I have a high arch. I get compliments every time I wear them as they are quite versatile and cute. Not a good boot for snow or extreme cold.
Comments about Product: These are my all time favorite uggs. I bought my first pair of Caspia's over 10 years ago and after almost constant wear they are still great looking and wearing. After seeing the chocolate brown leather I couldn't resist another pair. Wonderful wonderful boots!
Comments about Product: Order one size larger than you think you need and they will be perfect. I have never worn anything larger than a size 7, found that the size 8 (my normal boot size)was too tight, but the size 9 was perfect.
Comments about Product: Upon reading previous reviews, I ordered up from a size 10 to a size 11. It was perfect! I tore the shoe out of the box and immediately looked for the leather grommets that some felt were not so stable. With this in mind, I discovered that if the wearer tightens the laces by gently pulling each lace through it's grommet from the natural direction of the grommet rather than putting stress on the stitching and tugging away, the construction will last for years. Once I had the boot on, I didn't want to take it off - it was just that comfy. But alas, not cold weather yet here! The sole is great, but keep in mind the heel of the sole is just a tad more narrow than the heel base upon what the foot rests. Perhaps that is just due to my big foot! The overall stitching is great and the leather is up to the Uggs' standard. The sole is secure with no indication it would ever split or pull away. Living in the mountains, I have been shopping for boots like this for about 12 months and finally found them! Thanks!
Comments about Product: Love the ankle drawstring concept so I can snug my little ankles against the cold, or loosen up on a plane ride! Awesome design. I am just a little concerned about how well the leather tabs that allow cinching of the leather drawcord will hold up. While they are new, they are holding up fine, but what about in 5 years?
Comments about Product: The boots were the most comfortable I have ever worn. The style is great and they are easy to get on and off and feel so warm and snuggly.
The only problem was with the laces. They just do not say tied. The laces are stiff and keep coming undone which was a problem.
Comments about Product: These boots out performed my expectations. I wore them on several occasions to snow blow our driveway and never once thought about my feet as they were so warm and comfortable. I've only owned one other pair that was this warm and I had purchased them back in the 1970's. I am delighted and highly recommend them if you need to be outside any length of time in cold weather. I hope you add additional styles as I would gladly purchase a second pair next year. I wasn't sure how to answer the size question as I normally wear an 8 shoe but buy 9 when it comes to this type of boot. They fit perfectly.

leather straps broke on first wear
Comments about Product: I love them = they are warm and comfortable but I am so frustrated with the leather shoelaces - they keep breaking
One is so short now that I can not even tie the boot on properly
I am taking them back -- for the price and the Ugg name -- I am very very disappointed. - If the leather shoelaces were stronger - I would really love the boots -- I thought of buying replacement shoelaces - but then thought of how much these boots were - and decided - Plow and Hearth and Ugg need to improve the product instead
Comments about Product: Because I travel, it is important I not carry excess luggage. My UGG Caspias function in a variety of settings and always look appropriate even if differently elegant. Many people compliment me on my shoes.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
