Twirling Metal And Glass Angel Lantern And Optional Inserts

Very cool and beautiful. One piece of glass was broken and it was a pain to have replaced. It was a gift so I did not have the order number so I had to ask the person that I received it from for that information. That was a bit of an ordeal. I was sent a whole new one just for one piece of glass then I had to ship the other one back. I just simply took one piece of glass out of the new one for then it would not be a repackage nightmare.

I purchased 2 of these with additional inserts as gifts and loved them so much I ordered one for me. I use it in our screened porch and will use it on the front porch greeting visitors. Quality was good and easy to assemble. The height really adds to the effect. Great for the hearth also. Would definitely purchase it again.

Stunning piece that I am proud to display and show off in my home. I love candles and angels so the combination of both is a piece I absolutely love. I have this on my antique buffet with a mirror in the back so it looks beautiful lit up and spinning with the reflection in the mirror. It us a large piece but I'm sure there's a place in your home for it. I love that you can put other inserts in it so it can be on display year round.

This product was bigger than expected and makes a great center piece or accent piece. It works great and made great gifts. My family loved it, and suggested that when you didn't want to use the inserts you could decorate with battery operated candles and greenery. Great ideas and worth buying more to use that way!

Although I do have a large home this is just too big to display in the average home. I am returning it.

This makes a beautiful display and adds to our Holiday decorations, but the quality is very poor.
The bottom of the latern is warped, so it does not sit level on my table. We have tried to correct the problem, it still wobbles. I have anchored the candles onto the stand so they won't topple off if the lantern tips. I have put something under one corner to stabilize the unit, but I think that I should not have received the latern in such poor shape.
We also had to work with the twirling angels in order for them to twirl properly. Word of warning, the angel unit is very flimsy.

Photos on site and in catalog offer deceiving perspective on how large this piece is. Pay attention to dimensions given, which I apparently did not. Had to send back.

The lantern is very enchanting when lit.
I'm a little disappointed in the weight and balance of it.
It's not perfectly squared on the base and I have to stabilize it with a wedge.
I ordered all of the decorative inserts for it and hope that I will be as happy with the rest of them.

I really like this lantern and it was easy to assemble. BUT...it is very hard to see the spinning angels. We are going to spray paint ours silver or gold so they are more visible. I bought two as gifts and will suggest the same thing if our idea works.

I was looking for a nice size lantern that wasn't over priced and this fit the bill. The interchangeable inserts are an extra plus! Although it was packed very well the glass was broken when I received it BUT I called and customer service was very kind and sent out new glass right away. The angels look so nice when twirling, I really am enjoying this lantern.

Not only is this piece awesome but so is customer service! The glass panels were damaged at the manufacture but still wrapped and shipped to Plow and Hearth. Customer service took care of everything and I now have a beautiful statement piece that brings a smile to everyone...not just for Christmas.

It is a unique looking lantern and the twirling angels is special. The only negative is it is a lot larger than I expected. Would have preferred it to be smaller.

This item is way too large. I would return it if I had any idea how to rewrap it an d get it back in the box. I purchased it for a gift, but there is no way I would give this monstrosity, so I guess I am stuck with it. It was very difficult to put together and so I cannot return it because it would never get back to you undamaged. NOT a satisfied customer.

I have this lantern on my fireplace mantle and it looks wonderful. It is larger than I expected, which makes it stand out even more than I had hoped. There is nothing I don't like about this product! I purchased all the inserts so I can use it year round! :-)

I am very disappointed with this purchase. I love the idea of the angels turning with the heat from the candle but this item is not made well. I cannot close the door because the hinge was not properly attached and it sits unevenly. I nestled it in some greenery on the dining room table so it is not as noticeable. I have not lit the candles yet, but I am hoping it works. I was going to buy some as gifts, but now I won't.

Candle carousels are so beautiful and reminiscent of times long ago. I like that this one uses tealights as opposed to tapers, and I like that the candles are enclosed. This is a large piece, so it's perfect on its own. I will use it year round, thanks to the different inserts available - genius! The only remotely negative comment I can make is that the center rod arrived a little bit bent and off center...I gently bent it as much as I dared back to center, but it's not perfect. It still works beautifully. I could watch it all evening. I will cherish this. Magical.

Love this lantern! Purchased two in black with twirling angels. Received one in perfect condition; the other must have been a return, but P&H didn't recognize as such and, thus, shipped out again. Customer Service is the best. Returned second lantern with no hassle; representative was kind, courteous, and effective in resolving my return. Using first lantern in the center of our large kitchen table. Really neat to watch lantern when kitchen light is on or off. Great as a gift to yourself or someone else.

An absolutely lovely lantern. Liked it so much I ordered two more as gifts. Had to straighten the candle holder just a little, but no big deal. Multiple inserts means you can keep it on display all year.

I used them both as Christmas presents for my sisters, I think they will love them at least I hope so

I was so pleased when I unpacked the lantern and saw how well-made it is. And it was packed very well so all the pieces were protected. I'm using the lantern as a centerpiece on my dining table. It looks great on its own, or I may add some greenery around the base for the holidays. I was so pleased with mine that I also purchased one for a gift!

I had a "Blessings Unlimited" home demonstration. I had 10 women at my house and they all wanted to purchase this Lantern. I kept telling everyone this is NOT for sale but I will give you "Plow and Hearth" information.
I used this as a centerpiece with the angels. I was so happy that I purchased the snowflakes and stars to interchange. This is not a small piece. It just looked perfect for the Christmas season. The video on the website shows exactly how it works and moves. I have even given my grandchildren a little science lesson on energy and how the candle flames and heat make the angels spin. I think it was very reasonably price and would make a terrific gift for anyone on your list or treat yourself like I did.
