Very fast, careful shipping from Plow & Hearth. Excellent quality. Heavier than I expected. Reading the other reviews, the plug does rotate so it can be used any way you want. Recommended product.

Pretty to look at and stained glass part done well & nice, but light part is cheap & electrical prongs opposite for US outlets, so can only use upside down. Will look for nicer light to put stained glass part on, as is only connected by a clamp.

This comes with a polarized plug. If you have the thicker side on the left of your house plugs, the light only will plug in facing downwards. You have 3 solutions: buy a rotating adapter, which then puts the plug too far from the wall, install a wall flush rotating outlet, or turn your existing outlet upside down. I've gone to 3 stores asking for help. It seems turning the outlet will be my solution. If only the plug was not polarized.
I like the product, so I am willing to try to make it work.
I would give it 5 stars if it had just plugged in without all this extra work.

perfect night light with class

For those of you who didn't examine the switch. you are able to turn the plug so it can fit in the socket right side up OR upside down, which ever you perfer. I love it!

Am I the only one who didn't have a problem with the light being upside down? The actual outlet can be spun with your hand on the one I got to turn it different ways so that the light faces the correct way. The light is beautiful and a very classy, bright way to light up a dark space at night.

Plug can only be installed upside down so fixture is facing the floor instead of the proper upright way so cannot be used properly. Shame customer service does not read the reviews or check their stock to see they are mostly rejects. Simple solution to problem if they add the correct light switch to orders instead of all the returns on this pretty light.

I ordered 3 for our cabin. When they arrived (very timely) one of the leaded glass shades was broken off the plug. The general construction of the leaded glass seemed poor quality. One plug was installed upside down so to work the night light shade would have to hang upside down. I returned them. Customer service promised to cover shipping costs and they were very helpful and courteous

I really like the lights, but was disappointed to realize they were constructed with the plug upside down, not as shown in the picture. Didn't wan't the hassle of returning them, so purchased two inexpensive night lites at the supermarket and swithched the covers.
