Comments about Product: I have looked for years for a bistro set like this for a reasonable price. I just knew a red table and chairs would look perfect on our yellow with black shuttered front porch. I found this set and loved it. I knew it would be perfect for us and it is! I placed a beautiful large red, yellow and green floral arrangement on the table. We also bought 2 chair pads from Plow and Hearth for the chairs. It all looks beautiful. I am very happy with the results and it was worth the wait.
Comments about Product: I live in an RV and wanted a smaller table so I could actually sit at and enjoy coffee, write bills, etc. this table is lovely with my kitchen decor and i do have it inside and not outside. my only problem is the table is about 5" bigger than i expected and so i did have to make adjustments for the size. i would have preferred one that was 24" wide, but now that i have made the adjustments, it works really well in the space and is great for my decor. the other thing is the instructions for the chairs is not clear at all and in putting the first chair together i ended up with a big bruise on my head because the metal back of the chair hit me in the head. it would of been simpler to pay extra shipping to have the chairs already assembled and folded up in the box. they need to rethink the situation as i am not an older person but the knock on the noggin wasn't great either and could of been serious for someone older and trying to put it together by themselves.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
