I opted for these curtains because our family room window faces west, and I was concerned about the amount of heat/light we'd get in the summer. The curtains have been great blocking out the very brightest sun during the late part of the day. They also provide excellent privacy at night. They are well-constructed, the color was excellent and even throughout on two pairs I bought, and they were very easy to hang. I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

I bought these curtains for the heat-reducing properties of the insulation, as our new family room faces south and catches all the hot sun in the afternoons. They are perfect! The color (sage) is even throughout and the material is perfect, no flaws found anywhere. The grommets made them the easiest curtains to hang that I've ever had. I did not notice any strange odors in the curtains. They were wrinkled upon removal from the packaging, but steam ironing took care of most of it and I anticipate the rest will "fall" out over time. I'm very pleased with the product and would recommend it to others.

I read the other reviews and thought 'how hard could it be to get the wrinkles out". Well, now I know. I ironed 4 panels for about 2 hours. They look like I never touched them with an iron. I will be taking them to the cleaners to see if they can steam them, because I actually like the curtains. I still have 4 more panels in the box and may send them back.

The first pair--smooth, soft backing, great color. Loved them, but a bit skimpy for a slider. Ordered another pair to hang with. Second pair, everything bad. Panels didn't match, lining was sketchy and the light showed thru the marks. The smell, even after three washings was atrocious. The wrinkles were impossible.
Couldn't believe the difference in the two pairs!
maybe we got a newer one first, and an older one that has been improved ,second, but returned both with no problem except the bother of it all.

Ordered double wide because I couldnt get two sets that matched in color or length. Wish double width came in the 95" length but they are behind couch. Ironed as best i could and hung hoping wrinkles would fall out but will probably have to take them to cleaners and pay for pressing.

Length was right but not even. Luckily they are in a bedroom just to reduce the light yet the right color to go with the room.

Good price and quality (except as noted). Was able to minimize smell by adding to dryer load of wet laundry with lots of dryer sheets. Didn't help wrinkling -- just changed it. Also had billing issue; corrected promptly by P&H's Cory-thanks! Fedex Smartpost shipping is a nightmare for those in rural areas. I had to make a 25 mile trip to pick up at post office (no home delivery, many post offices closing or cutting hours). Paid $18 shipping -- package went (abbreviated version) from WVA to VA to NC to WV back to VA). By the time billing issues resolved and I was able to pick up at post office, unable to utilize free shipping option. Will not make future purchases from any vendor using Fedex Smartpost.

I ordered three pairs. One pair had to be returned for defective fabric - color variations. All were extremely wrinkled. I hung them up to see if wrinkles would fall out. Then, I purchased a steamer. Then, I ironed. I spent hours hanging and rehanging and trying to get the wrinkles out- nothing worked. I may have to return them although I'm allowing some more time to see if the wrinkles fall out more. Disappointing purchase. I would not purchase these again. Also, allow double the window size. I thought I would have curtains for three windows - I had to double them up so I covered one window and returned the defective pair.

My goal was to block cold air, but the terra cotta (nice true reddish brown)blocks light as well, not a priority for me, but an added bonus. They are so nice, I have ordered 2 other prs. I got them for the doors to the deck in our bedroom in order to block cold air. Since this is sort of an odd size, we needed a 3rd panel, and that led me to order 2 prs for the deck doors on another level, so each can use 3 panels. I got the grommet top, which moves very easily. Good quality material, hangs well. Comes in a range of lengths. A real value!

After reading comments, I thought I could handle some ironing but it was heavy heavy ironing and there are still many wrinlkles that I don't think will ever come out. 2 pannels had some sloppy sewing, that I was able to hide on an end. I thought about returning them but my husband had already thrown out the boxes and paper work. I really love the terracotta color and how well the drapes insulate the large windows we have facing the north in the great room. We will live with the wrinkles for now.

For this particular product I went "high-end". I ordered the natural color so I would be able to use them throughout the house. They have to be washed because they really smell. I will also have to iron them before hanging. Just holding them up to the window they do not seem to block out 99% of the light as stated. My biggest concern is how much difference I will see in the heat/cool retention they provide. That was the main purpose of buying them. I am hopeful I will not be disappointed as a lot of money was spent. They are very well made, nice and heavy. At this time I cannot recommend.

I used these in my living room. Wanted energy-efficient curtains that could easily be opened to enjoy the view in our back yard. These are perfect. Quality is great, but a bit difficult to get all the wrinkles out.

The curtains are room darkening and the color is good. It was difficult to remove all the wrinkles but I got them ironed out enough to suit me. There is a small flaw in the fabric of one panel but not big enough for me to mess with returning them.

While the material and light-blocking ability seem fine, the curtains hang unevenly and were permanently wrinkled coming out of the package, even after washing and trying to iron. Don't know if I'm going to keep the rest.

We hung ours in the kitchen on our patio door. It's too early to tell how much heat they keep in but love the natural color we choose. Iron with a hot iron that steams to get the wrinkles out all the way. Fabric is fairly heavy in weight and lengths were the same, no variations. Color matched exactly. No problems! We bought 4 additional pairs to hang in our breeze way that has a lot of glass.

I hung one panel at each end of the windows used, as accent. They look great. They are VERY wrinkled. I am hoping that the wrinkles will "hang out", but have my doubts. The colors are as shown in the pictures and they do hang well. I am very pleased

We bought the product for our family room patio doors. Does a great job keeping the cool out and warmth inside. The panels were just a little too small for our patio doors but we made due. The panels came out of the box extremely wrinkled and after multiple attempts at ironing, still require some work. The color is refelctive of the picture in the book and the quality of the material is good

I bought these curtains to keep the chill down in our bedroom. Haven't had a chance to see if they help with that as it's only the first of October, but an unexpected benefit is that they keep the noise down from a neighbor who drives a lineman's truck! We always hear him roar by in the early morning, but no more. They also block out the light very well. As others have said, they come very wrinkled, so get your spray bottle and iron. Most of the wrinkles will come out with ironing and the rest will come out after hanging for awhile. Be sure to buy enough panels to have twice the width of your window so you have a sufficient amount of fullness. I ordered four panels and didn't have any problems with different lengths in the panels as others have. Great quality and really finish off the window nicely!

We had our living room baby bay replaced with 3 double hung windows + custom designed framing with a top shelf. Normally I would have sewed my own panels but found these online. The price was decent + they looked good. I washed them when the arrived + hung them to dry. They are quite wrinkled + will consider a light ironing. I noted a light rusting on the material around the grommets. The panel lengths aren't the same. If i was looking for perfect I would have ordered less reasonably priced curtains. For the price these fill a need for our home. I would recommend + purchase more if so desired. For 84 inch wide window I ended up using 6 panels + the window looks awesome to my family!!

3 out of 4 panles had ugly blemishes that appear to be glue splotches between the inner and outer fabrics, which are fused together, so no way to get the splotches out. Panels had to be returned.
Regardless of how easy the return process is, it's a hassle and a disappointment when things don't arrive in perfect condition.

These are great! My only complaint is that they come in packaging that makes them so very wrinkled. And the care directions say no tumble dry and no iron, so how do you fix? I used a steamer and it took HOURS and they still aren't perfect. But other than that I love them.
