The only problem with the socks was they were not true to size and I had to return them (they were a gift). But .... when I went to the annapolis store to return ... that was a bad experience. There were many people standing around and only one young woman even acknowledged me. I went to the register and there was one person on the phone, he sort of acknowledged me (he ended up doing the return when he was off the phone. Two other people walked up looked at me and did not say a word and walked away. I will not go back tot he store again!

I love this style of slipper for the kids because once on, they stay on ! The sizing was too big for our little guy's feet, but next year is only months away !

These are definitely warm and cozy. Great to wear around the house. There is tightness/pulling around the ankles which is a bit annoying at first, but overall comfort is great!

These socks are good for keeping your feet warm and the foot part is comfortable but they do have drawbacks. One sock was tighter than the other and made my ankle itch. I wish the socks came up further on my legs. Both are difficult to get on and off. The foot part is better made than the leg section. If you order, maybe you will have better luck. Nice red color, good for holidays.

Nice product - warm, comfortable, nice looking but watch out on the sizes.The large, medium and small sizes are Men's sizes. The small is equivalent to a Women's 9-10. If you take a smaller size in Women's such as a 7 or 8 then I suggest you order the X-Small. I had to return a pair of smalls and order an X-small. My father loves these. We keep a spare on hand at all times. The last pair lasted about 2 years wearing around the house. I didn't see that my father broke into his spare pair so I have to order 2-3 this year for christmas. I hope these never get discontinued I may start stalking up just in case. Have about 10-20 pairs stored away!

A little too tight from the center of the ankle around the heel across the top of my foot, but not broken in yet either.
The last time I had a pair of these they were 2nd hand when I got them, but they still lasted 10+ years before the wool gave up. If I'd taken the time to find the right yarn I could have saved them but I just kept wearing them until they fell apart. I love Acorn slippers!! Very durable, warm, comfortable!!! Wish they were less expensive but I don't mind paying for quality.

Bought these for my mom (she's a senior citizen) and remembers having a product like this years ago. She loves them ! She loves the fact that not only is the foot enclosed but you have sock covering part of your leg. I plan on purchasing her another pair.

I highly recommend Acorn Slipper Socks. This is my second pair - my first pair having lasted me over 15 years. Acorn slipper socks are exceptionally comfortable and warm and stand up to repeated washings. They're good-looking, too!

This sock is an all around great slipper /sock to wear..One can go from the house to outside...I wear these to bed also...I would recommend this slipper/sock to anyone who wants comfort and abilty to adapt from inside to outside

These are basically a wool TUBE SOCK with a leather sole sewn on one side to make a bottom. When you put your foot into the sock, there is no heal definition so the leather is pulled down at the heal into the leather sole. Then the excess wool gathers up in a bunch in front of the ankle. Not very comfortable at all. Nice wool, nice leather, poorly constructed.

I've been wanting these for ages and they didn't disappoint. I love something soft, warm, and comfy for wearing around the house in Fall and Winter, and these are perfect.

I bought each of my adult children a pair for Christmas. They were delighted and I was even more pleased with the quality for the price. I plan on giving a pair to my daughter's fiancé for his move to Virginia.

My husband has been wearing these his whole life (he's 58). He's not a slipper wearer, so these are a great alternative. They're soft and "cushy". We have a cabin in the North Georgia mountains and he steps outside to get wood for our indoor fire. There's not usually snow, but it can get quite cold in winter. He can wear these around the cabin, step out to the shed, and back in again without the fuss of changing footwear. They made a great Christmas present in the green color this year, since he's always had the traditional ragg-wool color. I haven't tried machine washing them yet as they haven't gotten that dirty, but I wouldn't be afraid to do so.
