It has a larger diameter than I expected and weighs less than I expected, but it seems to work just fine. I am used to the thinner style with sand (or heavy plastic beads) inside. I like the cat fabric best. It holds back our curtain so the vent blows air into the room rather than behind the curtain.

Beautiful draftstopper I use at base of fireplace grill to block cold air from entering the room when fireplace is not in use. I am buying a 2nd one for a gift today.

Bought as a gift for a friend-recipient was pleased that product was as large as it was-said it definitely helped stop draft under front door
Delivery was timely and service from Plow and Hearth has always been excellent
I would have preferred that it was heavier-a bit weighted at the bottom would help more with drafts and to keep it in place
