When finally assembled it's not a bad piece, though a bit flimsy in places. The real problem is the very poor quality of the machined parts -- screws, screw holes, etc. Very difficult to put together because screw holes are often mis-aligned. After a lot of effort, and WD 40 on the screws, we were able to assemble it, though it was physically impossible to install two of the screws. Fortunately, the missing screws did not prevent the cabinet from holding together. Even for the price, prepare to be extrememly frustrated during assembly if you buy this cabinet.

I use my log cabinet in the kitchen. The location is long and narrow, so it fits perfectly. This is a great idea to have a top which can be used (I call it my log bar). The top self lip had two small dents on one side and one on the other. Just used a towel and hammer to tap lightly back in place. The doors need a little bending so they stay flush. For the price it's a good product.
