          Rusty patina way too soon

The design is nice, but after two weeks outside it is already rusting. It was not my intention to purchase something that would have that appearance immediately. I don't have much hope for it's longevity in the garden.

I ordered two obelisks, used for displaying garden vines. The main drawback was that the top and the bottom of each unit were hard to fit together snugly. They came apart easily when moved. When placing in the ground, I had to use deep holes and then rocks at the base to keep the pieces stable. That said, once in place, I love the way they look.

I agree... A little tricky to assemble, until you got the hang of the wiggle-jiggle necessary to get it into place. I have 6 sections assembled in the serpentine pattern against a long garage wall that needs a point of interest and two sections forming a half obelisk in another section of the garden with a clematis. it caught my eye in the catalog ad; it is beautiful..........hoping it stays that way. After some of the comments, I almost sprayed it with black rustoleum before setting it in place, but I was too anxious to get it up, one of those warm spring days that you want to be in the garden accomplishing things. I plan on growing an annual vine on it, so once fall comes, I will sand and paint if it does not hold up as others have stated. We live in Dallas and the sun readily destroys most trellises within a few years anyway. I would have preferred each section to be one sold piece instead of two.

The trellis is very attractive and looks beautiful in the landscape. The only downside is that they are not very well made and my guess is that they will not last as long as my existing pieces.

I have several of these strung together to form an open-weave "fence" and it looks great. No problem putting them together and they provide a great trellis for a light airy vine. We have had lots of favorable comments and enquiries about it.

I purchased this in April 2012. I also had problems getting it to stay together. Not made correctly for all the pieces to fit together just right. I did finally get it to stay together. But now the paint coating is coming off and it is rusting. Put it out in April and it is now first of Oct. I didn't expect it to look this bad after only 6 months of spring/summer weather. For the cost it should stand up better then this. I like the style and it worked for my plants and area. But would not buy it again unless it was manufactured better and price was a lot less.

I like the way this looks and it fit into an awkward space where I have a climbing rose. But it was terrible to put together. I really had to force the fit and even so I am not sure that it will stay together. I am hoping that the rose bush will help it stay together, I would not have purchased it if I had known how unstable it turned out to be.
