    Working well!

We used the longest rod available (for up to 120" expanses), stretching it 116". It's hanging straight (with two panels at one end), not bowing or drooping. We did remove the end pieces and screwed them into the posts, so we're not relying on simple tension to hold the rod up, but using the optional center support would have been tricky in this area. We were happy that the rod is strong and the center support turned out to be unnecessary. And we love the look with the new curtains.

Used for hanging Coolaroo outdoor curtains, work very well. Ordered two rods, they came in seperate boxing. One looked like it was in orginal box sealed, the other looked like it had been used before and reboxed, scratched up and missing parts. Since will be used outdoors, made it work.

These tension rods are a breeze to install and look terrific. My daughter and I hung her new drapes in minutes.

                • Not permanet installation

                • Do not match grommets

                Best Uses

                • Portable and temporary

I like the looks of these very much and like that you do not have to do a permanent installation. However, the size of the grommets in the curtains and the end of the tension pole, although both were sold ont he same page, are not compatable. My husband had to remove the end of the pole with a tool, slide the grommets on, and then replace the end of the pole. If the end of the pole had been slightly smaller or the grommets slightly larger, they would have slipped on without having to remove the end. A release mechanism for removal would have been helpful if the size needed to be larger to hold the curtains on the pole.

We live in Phoenix, AZ where it can get to 115 degrees in the summer. Used this rod to hang black out insulated drapes in an 104" wide 80" length window. Holding the weight fine. This size is so hard to fine.

The rod is well-made and sturdy. We placed it above our sliding glass door to hold insulated curtains. Looks great.

                      • Hard to use

                      Best Uses

It does not work without the ceiling bracket and the arrangement of the ceiling bracket means that it is a major job to take the curtains down for cleaning. It would be better if it were made of heavier metal with a stronger spring. The rubber ends also left marks on the wall as it was being installed.
