      Comments about Plowhearth Stainless Fireplace Reflectors:

      Although I did no scientific analysis to determine if the reflector actually sent more heat into my family room instead of up the chimney, the room seemed warmer than with fires in the past. I'd like to see some data proving the catalog's claims.

      I found peeling off the protective coating very difficult, and some significant bending had to occur to fit the reflector into my fireplace, but those were just one-time inconveniences.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
