Comments about Product: At first squirrels just tore the lid off and scooped out the seed. I actually had to buy a ring and heavy duty chain because they carried lid off and I had to search for it. Then they figured out that they could fit through the holes and now they sit in it tossing the seed all over. Birds can't even get into it now.

bird feeder I love.
Comments about Product: BUT.Getting the shipping and handling cost back is like pulling teeth.
Comments about Product: With a yard full of squirrels, this bird feeder is perfect! They swing from it but cannot get into the bird feed. The birds love it feeding safely in an enclosed but clearly visible cage.
Squirrel proof? Not!
Comments about Product: I purchased this feeder as a Christmas present for my wife. It's been hung off our deck for less than a week, and this morning I observed an adult squirrel seated comfortably inside the globe, chowing down. As soon as I went outside and startled the squirrel, it bolted out of the feeder effortlessly, so clearly getting in (and out) was not a challenge.
The wire mesh is too big.
Comments about Product: THE WIRE MESH INSIDE THE FEEDER IS TOO BIG. THE SEED GOES ALL OVER. MY HUSBAND HAD TO MAKE A TUBE OUT OF PLASTIC IN ORDER TO KEEP THE SEED INSIDE SO THE BIRDS CAN FEED FROM THIS, THE SMALLER BIRDS ARE REALLY ENJOYING IT NOW.

not chipmonk proof!
Comments about Product: i bought this feeder because i'm sick of chasing the squirrels away! but what they dont tell you in the description is that the chippies fit in there real nicely. the birds will not go to it when the chipmonk is in there:( bummer!

This is exactly what I needed! LOVE IT!!
Comments about Product: This feeder keeps the big birds out and lets all of the little ones in to feed to their content! The big birds were mean & wouldn't even share at all with the little ones. I am thrilled now...we have many little ones at a time in the feeder now!
A success with the birds...
Comments about Product: This is a great bird feeder, loved by the small birds in our garden, and squirrel proof.

Foil the cats!
Comments about Product: Kept my cats at bay, but if a heavy animal would try to climb the pole, it would bend. Use small seed feeder or hummingbird feeder and it works great!

Same experience as others
Comments about Product: I bought this for my deck and while it seems like it is heavy duty it bends easily from the weight of the squirrels, feeder and raccoons. Once it bends it is no longer functional.
I always wanted one of these
Comments about Product: The squirrels were too hard on this. Couldnt keep them off it and the screw bent from their weight. Too bad because I really liked that the bird mess was suspended beyond our deck and yet we could still see everything from our window. Maybe P& H could use tougher screws ....

Seems heavy duty...
Comments about Product: Pole and clamp are heavy duty.
However don't hang a heavy feeder on this pole.
We did and the clamp and screw bent making
it unusable. Great for small feeders.
