My wife and I purchased this for our living room which has natural gas logs and are very pleased with the look and feel of the product. It's sufficiently sturdy, has a nice weight to it, and the mesh screen is thick, indicating to me that nobody was skipping corners in producing this.

I bought this specifically to keep my two toddlers out of our gas fire place. I originally thought I would have to drill it in place to secure it so that it could not be pulled over onto a child. However that has not been a problem. The fit is great and it is very heavy, thus staying put even when pulled on.
