The reviews are correct. You have to have a level surface and after one season, good luck reassembling this. Also, the pump burnt out after only one season. Forget the fountain, just buy a ceramic bird bath and dump water in it every few days.

this fountain is impossible to get level. Does not even set on the base level. six hands are needed to put it together. I will need to apoxy the parts together to make it work properly. I am very disappointed in this product. I paid over $220.00 for it and the fountain is not worth $20.00.

This was sent as a subsitute for a fountain that didn't work. It is sturdy and easy to clean. Looks nice too - and no problem with sliminess. Because the water moves constantly, it doesn't make a mess. We love it!

The birds and squirrels love it! Very pretty looking out our window and seeing the fountain bubble. However, the directions were a bit confusing and it was very awkward trying to put the wiring unit into the fountain at the same time holding it together. The "sponge" holding the wire to the pump was ill fitting and difficult to get all pieces together to make the fountain work. But...it was worth it!

This is best assembled by a four handed goddess and placed on a perfectly level spot in bright sunshine. Then it will have to be taken apart to avoid running dry if you go away and will be even harder to reassemble. Curses!

When it does work it is a pleasure
