They are absolutely just what I wanted/needed to highlight the bridge over my new Koi pond at night. No electric cords to trip on and no worries anyone can accidentally miss the edge of the bridge at night. Wonderful.

I have purchased two sets of lights for outdoor decoration. One set would not work and was exchanged, the new set now will not work for more than two days with new batteries. The other set works but will only work in the flash mode.These lights are beautiful and a wonderful idea but someone need to have a serious talk with the vendor about the poor quality of their product!

The product is easy to install and looks beautiful. The downside is the batteries need changed every two weeks or more. It is great when the lights stay on and don't blink but the trouble is the blinking mechanism won't always shut off. We decided to use these further back in the garden so if they go out we don't have to run out right away and put new batteries in (batteries are rechargeable)and install electric lights in the small front trees. I have no problem with the beauty it is just the maintenance.

I use these lights around my gazebo. They come on dependably every night if there was just a little bit of sunlight during the day to charge them. They twinkle delightfully. I have been completely pleased with them.

The lights really showplace our yard and I love seeing them light by themselves each night. They are so pretty. We had a little trouble with turning off the blinking and staying with the permanently lit because when we put the batteries in we put the screws in too tight so we loosened them a bit and they stayed on without the blinking.

I attached these to my pergola by my pool. I love it when evening falls and these lovely lights come on. They power lasts all night (I've seen the lights still on at 5 am!). Love them! And best of all, no "electricity guilt"

We bought a set last year and they lasted for the summer. Of the set we bought this year, one strand would not turn off in daylight and doesn't charge. Cheaply made [*] electronics.

I have purchased three sets of the garden low glow lights - very peaceful. I display them with the solar dragonflies in my garden along the carport and also in the window box. Three sets - three areas example 2 sets for the carport and one set for the large window box.

My daughter in law hung the solar lights on her Swim Pool Fence. She thought the solar lights were so practical. Very pretty to see at night while in pool and/or from deck of master bedroom.

I ordered two strings, and one doesn't work at all. I've used it different places, thinking maybe it wasn't getting enough sun, but it hasn't helped. The second set works but the lights go on only for a short time. If they worked well I'd be delighted, but as it is I'm sorry I spent all that money.

neither the instructions with the lights nor the catalog made clear that these solar batteries actually improve their output over time, so I nearly returned them during their first weeks. It seemed as if i needed to live on the equator in June to get the advertised light time. However, after enough sequential sunny days (not always frequent here in the snowy northeast), they would stay on until dawn! so they work both better and worse than advertised, but a cloudy day gives me very little light time.
the quality of the wires sucks. have had to repair them in two places already where birds pecked right through the flimsy wires, since the light strings were installed near the bird feeder at first.

I would say too much money for what i get.

It worked only for a few days. Just not up to the usual quality. I replaced batteries, used a Volt-ohm meter to try to trace problem, no luck.

Have the light string along our front porch railing. Replaced exisiting non-solar lights with this product and have not been disappointed. Considering another set for our backyard deck area. Would strongly recommend this product for anyone wanting to save energy and be pleased with presentation at the same time.

After all the trouble of stringing these up, they didn't work. It wasn't a matter of just one, I bought two sets and neither worked. I even changed the rechargable batteries that came with them with brand new ones and no go. These are not a quality product.

Purchased two sets of these lights. One set was returned because of bad cover. At that time we ordered a third set. The last set it has a defective switch. The idea of the lights is great, need better quality control.

I wrote a review on these when we first put them up, so I feel it's only fair to ammend it to paint a more accurate picture. The lights are still lovely and charming. . .when they go on.

After a couple of days of working perfectly, they started to act up. Anywhere from one to all four strands will be out on any given night. If we play with the switches, we can usually get them going again, unitl the next night. For our installation, reaching the switches requires getting on a ladder, and moving that ladder around the deck a few times.

If they worked like they should, I'd still say the lights are very pretty, but taking into account how techtchy they are, I just can't recommend them.

I am using them to outline my dock out over a lake......very dramatic at night...I often use items differently than originally planned & may eventually move them to another spot! I never know....I'll spend a bit more for a unique product . My brass sun-dial on the same dock came from a local thrift store & only cost $15....I love bargains !

We use these lights on top of our Pergola on the patio. We ordered another 2sets to make it brighter when needed on the patio. That will make us 4 sets for the 12x16 Pergola.

We got four strands to string to a rooftop pergola, and so far they've worked beautifully. The lights are not super-bright, but I'm not sure they're supposed to be. They give off a lovely starlight twinkle, and that's exactly what we wanted-- the effect is very charming and lovely.
I can't speak to durability as we've just put them up.

A caveat: Because it's the middle of summer, and they're on our roof, our panels get an enormous amount of sun, and that might be an important consideration.

Purchased as a gift. They loved them and put them on their pergola. The glow and ambiance is so perfect at night. They loved them so much I purchased 2 more sets for them. Great product!!
