          Comments about Plowhearth Solar Illuminator:

We needed a light to illuminate our address at night (5 digits vertically). The solar light does a nice job of covering all five digits (the last digit is ~30" from the light), and at night the address can be read from the road approximately 40' away. I allowed the batteries to charge in the sun for 3 days before turning the light on. The light works as advertised, turning on at dusk and turning off at dawn. The light is attached to the west side of the house, and gets plenty of sun during the day. I wish the light housing came in white; I ended up spraypainting the plastic so it blended in with the trim of the house.

          Overall, a great product.

          Comments about Plowhearth Solar Illuminator:

We were looking for some type of inexpensive solar light to use for a business sign that hangs from an "L" Post. Many lights are available, but they are in the $200+ category. We went with this thing, and while we hoped it would be brighter, it is doing the job. It doesn't quite have the power to illuminate the entire sign, but it does give the sign presence at night so that someone driving by might take note. We are not using this as intended so we can't be too hard on it for what we are asking it to do. I'm sure for wall plaques or the type of lighting requirements as shown in the picture, this thing is pretty good, especially for the cost. Our only suggestions would be to find a way to give it more illuminated power or intensity, and maybe offer different colors / faux shingle look, etc., this would be a truly killer product for under $50.00 buck. Finally, we haven't owned it for too long, maybe 3 months, but it is always outdoors, and has been subjected to rain, wind, and sun, and it's still going. We're pretty pleased.

              Comments about Plowhearth Solar Illuminator:

I installed it and let it charge as directed. It will not stay lit for more than two hours. If turned off and then back on, it will light up for a few minutes only. I am not sure if being on a north-facing wall is the problem, but in Sacramento, CA, there should be ample ambient light to charge the batteries.
