Comments about Product: The smudge pots began rusting almost immediately. Not what I expected for a product sold to be used outdoors. The rubber seal on the threaded wick/filler cap broke on the fisrt refill. I must wonder if the rubber seal is necessary. It's a smudge pot, expected to be beat up and used outdoors. I would not pay full price for this item.....and would think hard before paying half price.

excellent look and function
Comments about Product: I use it for illumination on a flagstone walkway to my grill. I love it. The low level highlights my decorative rock.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Comments about Product: We bought these back in the 80's and we still use them today. We have had to only change the wick once. They have traveled with us across the country and they are still going strong. They do live up to the name of Smudge Pot though, so be prepared for some dirty hands.

Can't leave them outside
Comments about Product: I primarily use the Smudge Pot in my little red wagon and pull it around with me as I do yard/garden work on high biting bug days/evenings. Also use on my patio. The (black)snuffer chain rusted almost overnight, so I usually bring the pot(s) in to the porch when I have extinguished them; I store them (empty) indoors over the winter. Other than that I love them and would recommend them with that qualifier. Going to purchase a few more. Very nice that they don't get too hot to handle shortly after putting out.

If you don't mind the RUST buy this pot!
Comments about Product: The appearance of the smudge pot after a few short months is very disappointing. Rust has already taken over the outside of the pot where it is put together along with the chain that attaches the cap. Great for outdoors but lacks the quality you want to have in a product that cost this much.

Comments about Product: The smudge pot is quite large. I bought the copper pot. It has started to rust a little. (obviously not real copper) It is easy to fill. There is a heavy weight in the bottom to keep it stable. Works great on windy days. Looks great along the walk or on a stone wall. Bigger than I expected, but it's great because the citronella does not need to be refilled constantly. I recommend this and will most likely get another. I thought is was a little expensive, but had a coupon.

Comments about Product: We have eight of these around the pool. The new top design that holds the wick is a great improvement over the older ones I have. Some of them are at least 12 years old.
