      Best Uses

        This chandelier comes with generous cord length so the fixture can hang from a high ceiling to table height. The vertical metal rod is about 19" long. Those two features make it difficult to hang in a hallway with normal ceiling height--the extra cording becomes difficult to fit onto the winding spool and the overall height of rod,cord, fixture, and ceiling plate make the height about 23 inches. In a standard hallway,people who are six feet tall or taller will collide with the lamp. Three chandelier base bulbs are needed. The shades clip onto the bulbs.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
