Comments about Product: The slate memorial looked good out of the box, but it is very small. That's my fault for not checking the size. I like the memorial but it is so thin I don't think it will last. I'll probably have one made locally that is more sturdy, but this will do for now.
Comments about Product: This beautiful memorial marks the spot that our family dog loved to spend so much time in. It's been a while she's gone and I wasn't sure what I wanted -- until I saw this. Thank you!
Comments about Product: First we want to thank you for waiting to ask for a comment about this product. Any pet owner knows that this is a very hard thing to do and you want it to be right. It was perfect for our Katie. She enjoyed your other products throughout her life. Thank you very much!
Comments about Product: This is the second marker we've purchased. They are very good quality and it gives us some comfort to see such a nice marker. It would be nice if it was a little thicker, but it looks great and comparing it to others we've seen, it is a very good value.
Comments about Product: I ordered this for a beloved dog that died several years ago. It was beautifully done and I ended up putting in in the house. I may eventually put it outside but it seems too nice. It is clear and came as ordered.
Comments about Product: The item is of professionally quality and I am proud to honor the memory of my beloved pet with this grave marker. The natural stone works beautifully in the woodland/garden setting. The stone will last longer than I will. I am most pleased with the product.
Comments about Product: I purchased this plaque when I had to put my German Shepard to sleep. Since then I've purchased 1 for a kitten who passed and another one for an older cat we lost years back. You can't beat the quality. All three were engraved with their names and dates and were recieved in less then 2 weeks and now sit atop their graves. Thank you for helping us get through a tough time.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
