This has been a great gift for my grandma who lives in an assisted living facility and doesn't really need anything. This is at least my 4th year ordering the 6 months of flowers. There have been a couple of months that the flowers did not grow (not sure why, possibly could have frozen?) but Plow and Hearth has been great at sending another or refunding me. This year's December pot doesn't seem as robust - maybe too many bulbs or maybe just poor sun quality. My dad takes the pots after they bloom and plants the bulbs in his garden in the spring. Grandma loves them!

I love the concept, we gave the 6 month gift to my mother-in-law. We visited her at Christmas, and her first pot had arrived and was progressing. I was disappointed that it appears that about 25% of the bulbs are not going to bloom. The hyacinth, snowdrops, tulips and grape hyacinth were blooming, progressing. But there was no sign of the crocus or daffodils. With that said, it is still a nice touch of spring when everything is gray and cold outside.

This was a gift for my parents in their mid-80's, altho I filled out a gift card on-line, it was delivered with no explanation. This caused much confusion. We live at opposite ends of the country. So it took a few calls to explain. People at P & H advised me to order by phone to ensure correct orders. That sometimes their computers glitch. Here I am on the computer. P&H was helpful and tried to make it right.

These beautiful flowering bulbs are helping me carry out one of my father's wishes. He so adored my mother and was always surprising her with lovely blooms and other loving tributes. In one of our last conversations ( he died a year ago in 2011 on their 63rd anniversary at the age 93 ) asked me to keep up his romantic tradition of sending her flowers every month. This makes it so easy and after receiving December's bulbs, she grew teary eyed and said how my father always gave her flowers. I smiled to myself and thought that it is obvious that although my father is no longer with us that his "Love Still Blooms."

I had these bulb arrangements sent to my mom, and she would get so giddy when they would start blooming. No worries if the bulbs might not bloom. Every one was perfect! When they would bloom, she would take them to work and put them on her desk!

I gave this to my parents as a Christmas gift last year and they loved them so much I'm ordering them again. They just moved into an apartment and loved having spring in their home. I always got updates on what was blooming. They were thrilled!

Gave this to my mother for Christmas. She is older and has everything she really needs. She is very hard to buy for, but this was great. She received the December flowers just before the holidays. They grew quickly and each day has been a surprise as to which new flower will appear. She just received her January pot so the surprises will continue.
