Single-Door Pine Bough Fire Screen

I've been looking for a good fireplace screen at a decent price for years and finally found this one. Works great and looks good. A little short for my fireplace so there is still an area where coals can fly out over the screen, but unlikely. Only downside is that the legs stick out both front and back and I wanted it to sit flush with the stone on the outside, so I cut the back part of the legs with a hacksaw and it leans up against it nicely.

The screen hinge was broken or never welded. But the design and finish was very nice. We didn't want to return it as it was such a large piece so we will try to fix it. Be sure you measure your opening. I did, but forgot that the legs are supposed to sit inside the opening and our opening was just to small but it still works.
