      Woodpeckers love this feeder! Other small birds are able to feed until the suet is eaten into the middle, then only the woodpeckers can get it. The good part is the bigger birds won't eat all your suet in a day. You don't need to buy special suet. Use store bought cakes at room temperature and simply push it down so it fits the feeder. I make homemade suet and it eaten much faster than any store bought suet...the birds love it!
