Beautiful colors - attractive in most decorating settings. I replaced a lower-quality, thin rug with this runner for a high-traffic hall area. It is soft and plush underfoot; fibers stand up to foot traffic. I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy and thick this rug is and expect many years of beautiful service from it. I also plan to purchase another for the kitchen.

I bought this rug and was very pleased with the overall design. Very colorful and vibrant without being "loud and garish." It is very elegant and looks so very high-end and will work with a multitude of decorating styles. I love it so much that I purchased more in different sizes and have placed them in my family room and adjoining dining room area. It has garnered me a lot of compliments. I'm pleased with the quality and durability as well. Money very well spent!

I purchased these rugs to use in my kitchen and liked them so much I have more in 2 other rooms of the house, all different sizes. The colors are softer than in the pictures, I was very pleased with that. And all of the colors blend well with everything. These are the nicest accent rugs I have ever purchased, and emphasis on the accent aspect. The rugs really accent a room, not overwhelm it. They blend well with any decor.

I bought this rug elsewhere and overall love the pattern/design BUT cleaning it is a disappointment. ALL of the edges are curling and has become rippled and I can't get it to lay flat. Plus it has taken on an odor which I believe maybe from the dyes within itself !

I bought the largest size rug to use in my living room. I wanted something pretty and a little bit different that would complement the room but be dark enough to mask dirt in a high traffic area. This rug fits the bill! The colors are rich and lovely--you should know that the background is made up of a few shades of green. This was perfect for me, but is really hard to see from the pictures here. The outer border is a lighter copper color. I'd been searching for just the right rug for months, and as soon as I saw this one, I knew it would be perfect. I'm very happy with it.

It looks & feels a lot like wool (not too scratchy) but without the care involved. The yarn & colors are understated & appear natural, yet are richer than in the photo and would completely obscure dirt. Bright specks, lint, etc. may show in the center, but to be expected with deeper tones. It's a high-quality rug.

I just loved this rug... I have been looking at one very much like this one for years now, but with a little different design... My family room is more like a "parlor" to me so this really fits the bill...I am so glad that I looked to the Plow & Hearth Catalog, This rug was a little bit better priced with the exact same description as another country catalog. I even like the design better.

We have had this runner in front of our kitchen cooking area for years. It is soft underfoot, and hides stains well. Visitors often comment on its good looks.

We clean the rug on the driveway with a hose, detergent and a scrub brush, and let dry it in the sun draped over a ladder. It comes out looking nearly new every time. When this one dies, I will replace it with the same rug if it's still available.

I have an eclectic mix of furniture in my living room, in jewel tones of Prussian blue, cinnamon and deep persimmon. The Shaker Village rug pulls all those colors together and unifies the room.

I have four cats who love the rug because it is soft and allows them to roll around on the floor, while staying warm. Something the rag rug and hardwood did not allow them to do.

This rug has a nice feel and seems well-made but the colors are not as represented in the picture. The overall rug is blue, without the the bright pops of green, tan and other colors shown in the picture, and the border is a rather sad shade of tan, not the rich brown shown.

Overall I am satisfied with the quality of the rug, but not the appearance, and I would not buy it again or recommend it.

Someone gave me this rug to use in my elementary classroom. I've used the rug for over 4 years now, and it still looks like what it looked like when the person gave it to me! Who knows how old it was before then? If it can stand up to years of use with 25 6 year olds at time, then it sure is durable. The pattern makes it hard to see the dirt, too. Plush & thick.

I wanted a rug for my kitchen that was durable,easy to clean, oriental in design, and blue. This rug has fulfilled all those needs. It isn't cheap, but the quality makes it worthwhile. One wouldn't know that it isn't a wool pile unless you put hands on it and really look.
