Comments about Product: Had these on my dining table during the holidays. Since then I have moved them to my mantel and will keep them there through the winter. These reindeer have autumn/winter colors and are graceful and light. A nice addition to the mantel, very handsome!
Comments about Product: Somewhat delicate but packaging ensured there would be no damage. I gave these as a gift to a friend with a birthday close to the holidays. She loved them to display for the season and has kept them out ever since.
Comments about Product: I loved these deer when I saw them in the catalog. What made me purchase them was a review I read while on the website. They are everything the reviewer said they were. They are a perfect size. Not too large to overpower a mantle or side table. The coloring on them is great for the fall season. I did not leave them up during Christmas due to my collection of reindeer, but I put them back out after the holidays. My only concern was the light weight feeling of each deer. I was concerned that they might topple over, but they didn't. They're fairly sturdy.
Comments about Product: Simply, these are creatively designed with originality, simplicity & pleasing earthy colors. They fit so well with my decor, that I may well leave standing throughout the year!
In addition to myself ... I sent to 7 others of my family, receiving favorable comments
Comments about Product: I am using them right now as part of our Christmas decorations. Decided to go toward country this year and they were perfect to achieve that.
They were a bit larger than I expected, but they work fine.
Comments about Product: When I ordered the reindeer it was with the idea to use them just for Christmas. After I received them and saw the colors, they blended right in with my Thanksgiving decor. Such a bargain, two seasons for the price of one! They seem to be very well made and I have received complements on them already.
Comments about Product: I intended to purchase these for the holidays but they were on back order. I kept my order in anyway and am so glad I did. Here it is the end of January and I put them on my mantel and they look great! I was undecided but then checked your website and sure enough someone else keeps them out all year long. Same mindset as me, her husband is a hunter which is why they appealed to her. They really are neat! I have struggled with this mantel since we moved her 6 years ago. This so is really working for me!
Comments about Product: These deer appealed to me. My husband is a deer hunter. The colors are perfect in any room I use them in. Currently, for holiday time, I have them nestled in fresh lit greenery from our pine tree high on an armoire. It's the first thing you notice when you walk in the room. Also they are lovely on our fireplace with candleglow. Quality product.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
