Comments about Product: Loved the plant stand and have all my indoor plants displayed plus other things. It's so versatile, I have one of the nesting stands on top of my cedar chest and another in my bay window to raise the height where the sun shines. Ordered a second one since I liked it so much. Very durable and attractive.
Comments about Product: Not using them at all for plants. The three pieces are spread over 2 decks: the mid-size as a table, the other two combined as convenient storage space for odds and ends of boating equipment. They look quite smart. Hope they weather well during winter. Thanks to the advice of prior reviewers, assembly was tricky, but not overwhelming.
Comments about Product: The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the packaging. Each of the stands had dings or scratches on them. Not worth sending them back (and there wasn't a return label or receipt in the packaging). Luckily you can't see the scratches or dings once they were set up. They were easy to put together and are very functional.
Comments about Product: I am very pleased with these plant stands. Thank you to the other reviewers for assembly tips, I was able to unpack and put all three of these together in about 30 minutes. They nest beautifully, are quite sturdy, and I put a tablecloth over one (that won't get used until spring) and it makes for a great little table.
Comments about Product: These stands are wonderful. They are sturdy and should last a long time, because of the powder coating. I purchased two a couple of weeks ago and I am already ordering a couple more.I didn't have any problems assembling them once I learned a few tricks. Start out by putting all the structural nuts in very loosely. Get the front decorative pieces in (top, then side nuts). Tight the decorative piece first, then go around and tighten the other nuts. I can put one of these things together in about 3 minutes now.
Comments about Product: I am very pleased with my purchase. It took less than an hour to assemble. Reading other reviewers' comments about assembly, I first put all the parts together very loosely then tightened everything. I now have a sturdy, attractive plant stand holding six pots of herbs.
Comments about Product: Instructions were a little hard to follow - mostly had to use common sense. Some of the pieces didn't fit together exactly. It was hard to get the little decorative pieces on, even if I hadn't tightened everything, and still some of the edges weren't flush when it was all put together. The price seemed a little high to me for what it is (metal), but comparing it to other products online, I guess that's the going rate. I love the way they look, and they are sturdy. I'm holding out hope that they won't rust for a while (it's only been 1 month and they are in our screen room), but only time will tell on that one.
Comments about Product: I can't wait to assemble and try out my new plant stands. This should be the perfect versatile alternative to using fixed shelving or a baker's rack type stand to hold my plants.
Comments about Product: These are perfect plant stands for a small area in my house with Southern exposure. They were relatively easy to assemble, but several holes were misplaced re: to the scrollwork on the front, and I was able to use only one screw, while jamming in the other section...I won't be moving the shelves, so they should be OK. These are quite sturdy, and yes, marred by a few scratches, but imperceptible from afar. Love the way they fit under each other and the price was a great draw as well.
Comments about Product: I had the same experience as the previous reviewer- wish I had read it before I tightened all the screws. But the pieces did go together very quickly and look great. There were some surface blemishes that I would have complained about if I had paid $200+. These shelves are exactly what I was looking for at a great price.
Comments about Product: It is very well made and sturdy, but the directions are worthless. Basically you have to figure out which curly Q pieces align where by trial and error, (by holding them up to see if the holes align or not). To assemble, put all the screws in, but just barely threaded and then mostly tighten each one by one and then go back and tighten all. Do not tighten a single screw before all the screw are in a stand.
I really like that these are truly nesting. The smaller ones are just smaller than the next size up so that when you nest them together, they are all one size. Great for storage and looking tidy. Most other nesting stands do not do this.
The set I got had a couple surface scratches, but nothing to worry about. I was planning on putting heavy glazed pots on them and knew I would be scratching them myself within minutes.
I am attaching a photo with my plants on and around them, these are big, heavy pots and this stand can handle it no problem, unlike wire plant stands (of which I also have in the corner).
I bought one set to make a shade garden container garden on my deck, I staggered them and I think it looks great!
Comments about Product: We are using this as a plant stand an were concerned that it would be flimsy. No problem there, its rock solid. It was clear how to put it together but I made the mistake of tightening screws early. The hole alignment seemed off so make sure you get all the screws threaded in before cinching it up. The surface finish had blemishes in parts but since it going to be out in the elements they will eventually become "character" for the piece. Overall, very happy with the product and the price was a lot better than similar products we were contemplating.
