Comments about Product: I gave these as a Christmas gift and my sister said they are very bright and she loved them. She said you can see them before you get to her driveway. Very pleased I made the right choice. Thank you.
Comments about Product: Purchased these as a present and the recipient raves about the brightness. Costs more than others ($200 for 4), but not your typical solar light that's hardly noticeable. They are also heavier weighted than most. So far the battery seems to store power as well. After two days of no sun in the winter, the lights still produced a very nice glow.
Comments about Product: These are beautiful lights..... but don't make the same mistake I did understanding the measurements. The height includes the hook on top which is almost 2 inches tall. And there is also another small section right below the hook that is about an inch. So the height of the lantern 'box' itself is only about 7". I was wanting to put it on a pillar, but it looks too small. I'm not blaming anyone but myself for this mistake. When I saw 9" for the height, I didn't realize it included the hook. They are very nice, sturdy lights, however, and I will enjoy them somewhere else in my yard.
Comments about Product: I bought a pair of these in the spring and love them. They work well and stay lit all night. They are also very attractive. When I got a gift card in December I didn't hesitate in buying a second pair.
Comments about Product: Non-standard battery with short life an issue. Decent light for about 4 hours on full charge. Exterior construction solid quality, but battery compartment flimsy and will not hold up to any use. Overall, better than the standard plastic types.
Comments about Product: We just love them! We moved into a new house and wanted something to light the steps up the tiers and they do a great job. I'm even surprised how long they stay on and how much light they provided. AND they look just like the picture!!
Comments about Product: nicc quality, expect they will last longer than the average solar LED's from Lowe's or home depot...but price was high, especially since there were only two. price would be worth it if there were 3 or 4. Nice if you like arts and crafts or mission motif. would even work in an asaian decor.
Comments about Product: Looks like it is pictured. Very nice and clean looking. Well made. Just wish the posts were a tiny bit taller. I love the idea of moving them from the shepards hook and placing them on the dining table.
Comments about Product: I bought one of these and had to return the next day to purchase another. These lights are gorgeous and made with quality materials. I bought some last year from HD and the rods that went in the ground were plastic and broke within 6 months. These are metal rods and very sturdy. The lights come on at dusk and stay on all night long! Which is great!!! I believe they generally go out around 5ish
Comments about Product: I put these at the entrance to my path. They shine brightly all through the night, even after a cloudy day. Love that you can remove them easily from the shepherd's hook stand. We brought them inside when we lost power and they lit the room beautifully!
Comments about Product: Bought these a few days before a March snowstorm. We had already noticed how bright and long they shined along our path. When we lost power due to the storm, we just took them off the hooks and brought them inside. The light they provided was wonderful, and the hanging loops made great carrying handles. Surprised how heavy/sturdy they are.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
