Really good looking window box. Solid. Somewhat like buying a model plane and having to build it yourself though. Because of that I think it is over priced.

These call for plastic peanuts for the bottom, No one uses peanut anymore and you can't buy just a little you have to buy a huge bag of plastic peanuts. I feel they should include them with your order.

We placed these under the windows on our vinyl sided shed and they look wonderful. They were a little difficult to assemble fast enough before the glue dried; we found that one end cap on each window box was hard to get on, but a few taps with a rubber mallet helped. Would prefer that they come preassembled for the price. Also bought the decorative supports, but will be sending them back as they did not fit flush with the window box and did not look right on the 2' sized box.

ALL FOUR PIECES MUST BE ASSEMBLED BEFORE THE FAST-ACTING RESIN DRIES PERMANENTLY. IF YOU DON'T, AND ONLY PART OF IT IS GLUED, AND IT'S NOT PERFECTLY PLUMB, YOU MUST FIND A LOCAL HARDWARE STORE (KUDOS TO OURS) WHO WILL POUND IN THE PIECES AND SHORE IT UP WITH PLASTIC SCREWS. ALSO, UNLESS YOU HAVE FLUSH-MOUNTED SIDING, YOU WILL HAVE TO APPLY A STABILIZING 2x8 TO YOUR HOUSE BEFORE THE BOX CAN BE MOUNTED.

We recently purchased and installed our window boxes and they look great! We have already received many compliments and we have yet to fill them. (That will be this weekend!) For assembly we simply followed the enclosed instructions and they went up without a hitch. I am so happy with this purchase as the window boxes add such a touch of class.

TOOK TWO OF US AN HOUR TO PUT TOGETHER. THE RT END CAP JUST WOULDN'T GO ON. WHY DON'T THEY COME ASSEMBLED LIKE THEY USED TO? FOR THE MONEY THEY SHOULD BE ASSEMBLED WHEN YOU GET IT.

My husband remodeled a 100 year old house, but had extreme difficulty putting this window box together. End caps were impossible to make meet up with the box. Had to cut many of the PVC flanges and finally siliconed in place. Took two hours and he was definitely not a happy camper. We've ordered many smaller window boxes from P&H in the past, would definitely not order this brand again.

Because it is plastic, there will be no rotting wood and the self-watering is a bonus. However, the look of the product was cheap. Certainly, doesn't look like it's worth [$]. Also, they recommend using the lightweight potting soil. I've never had much luck with that. Since it is too early to plant flowers here, I cannot determine if these boxes will be able to support the weight. I also did not realize that the white supports were additional. They come with unattractive black metal brackets and I am reluctant to invest any more money for this product.

Located under my window in front of my house. I also bought the upright flower boxes that match the window box. Really sets off my house. Worth every penny.

I have put this window box under my dining room window...and it looks wonderful. It looks just as good as the picture in the catalog. I am very happy with the quality of the window box, and it was not difficult to put together.

My window boxes look great. They are sturdy and pretty, we will see how they weather our cold winters. Only drawbacks,a missing piece, but P&H was great about sending it right out. Also. it does not store much water. I found my plants still needed watered every other day.

We had trouble putting this together- seemed to be faulty, so we sent it back after about an hour of trying to fit it. The molded plastic parts just didn't fit.

Also, for the money I was expecting a higher quality PVC, not the hollow molded plastic that this window box is made from.
