We were looking for an inexpensive lighting upgrade for over a kitchen island. Granted, you can tell that they are not truly stained glass-- they are plastic-- so the catalog title is a bit misleading, but they are attractive and matched our decor. Installation was as easy as advertised-- had them up in 25 minutes. We chose to use CFL bulbs, and find that they provide as much light as the canned lights that they replaced. Very happy with them.

Replaced the recessed lighting in upstairs hallway and put one at each end of hall. Elegant look.

These lights are GREAT! I purchased two of these for our foyer. They look fabulous. I installed both in about 10 minutes, let the kinks settle out of the cord for two day then spent a 5 minutes more to level them so they were both the same heights. I installed 5 of a different style in my kitchen, I can not say enough about these lights. They are good quality, easy to install, and MUCH cheap then doing a permanent pendant instillation. (I still have options to go back to my recessed lights) A few days after installing all 7 lights I had a electrician in my home to replace and install some ceiling fans. When he walked in to the foyer he noticed the two lights, when h continued to the great room and saw the other 5 he commented. Wow you have some great pendants in the house, who did the work for you. I just smiled and said Me!

We needed a more direct light over our kitchen sink, and this light does a fantastic job of replacing the can light that's recessed in our 9-foot ceiling. Not only do we have the perfect lighting now, we have a colorful, stylish fixture that's already gotten quite a few compliments. AND, I installed it myself, much to my husband's delight (he was really impressed that I did this all by myself in about 15 minutes' time).

What rod? Someone posted they changed the rod. Was there a rod covering the cord hanging from ceiling? Wish there was. Other than that, very happy with lights. They look great in my kitchen, adding a little color.

This is very pretty and works well in my kitchen. Very nice for the price. My only complaint is the colors are different than what is shown in the picture. There is a lot of "kelly green" in the fixture. Although it's pretty I may be exchanging this for a different lighting fixture that Plow & Hearth sells.

We bought 3 of these pendents to hang in front of a double kitchen window over the sink. Since the appliances are stainless, my husband changed the rod and the part that attaches to the ceiling to stainless. They look beautiful. He put them on a separate switch, so they can be turned on without the other kitchen lights. They are stunning, look beautiful from the outside. The decision to buy these was the result of intense shopping for accent in our newly remodeled kitchen.

I bought two of these to go over cannister lights in my hallway and they look great. They were very easy to put up. The only con I have is that I wish they could get an inch or two shorter (My ceilings are only average height) since this is a hallway and people walk under them. But the design could not allow that. Overall, fantastic and worth the money.
