Comments about Product: This will hold a lot of DVD's and CD's but its not stable. Put heavy stuff at the bottom first or it will tip over! For the money it was not worth it. Was expecting better wood construction.

Careful if you use CD sleeves
Comments about Product: Very nice looking product - well made. Great idea if you have CD's in jewel cases. Sleeves, unfortunately, have to be jammed in. They will go in the drawers, but do not move easily once in there. Too bad the drawers were not just 1/8" wider.

For DVD storage, it may need some mods
Comments about Product: If you want to use this storage unit as a device to hold DVDs you will be required to do a little extra work. It works fine for CD jewel cases and the smaller, shorter Blu-Ray cases, but regular DVD cases are too tall, and after you've wrangled three or four in there, you won't be able to fit any more because the drawers don't open all the way.
For a DVD cabinet, you will have to turn it upside down and look at the bottom back of the drawers. Each drawer has a little dowel keeping it from being pulled out. Yank out the dowel on the bottom row of drawers, pull those out and keep moving upwards until you've pulled all the dowels out. Now your drawers pull all the way out and you can fit each drawer with a stack of DVD cases no problemo. It is only a quick modification and totally worth it, because it's really a gorgeous piece of furniture and it just takes away that cluttered look a shelf full of DVDs can look like.
We also added some small legs to it so it isn't full on the floor and it rises above the baseboard and shoves right up against the wall. We love this piece of furniture, and it's perfect for a small home where space needs to be economized.
Best buy once again!
Comments about Product: I use this for CD storage and of all I found this is the best for quality, craftmanship and looks good in any room. The packaging of the item insures the delivery of the product in perfect condition. Its the second one we have purchased and would do again if need arises.

Great Cabinet for CDs
Comments about Product: Love this CD storage unit because it holds lots of CDs without taking up a lot of space. Fits in well with the antique secretary I have.
Jewelry Box Extraordinaire!
Comments about Product: I use this for my large collection of costume jewelry and am contemplating purchasing another one for my "fat quarters" (small pieces of fabric for quilters).
Good Buy On Cabinet
Comments about Product: I shopped several stores in town and could not find a cabinet that was a reasonable price and with lots of drawers. I was amazed at the prices being ask in some of the local stores, however in all fairness some of those cabinets reflected top notch furniture construction. If you are looking for a top grade piece of furniture perhaps you should pass on this one. On the other hand if you are looking for an inexpensive addition to your office this one should work well.I saw this one on the web and after reviewing all the reviews decided to take a chance and purchase. [...] I was well pleased. The drawers slide on wood and thus they are not a high quality construction, however for my purpose I found them acceptable. They will not hold extremely heavy items, however for paper clips, rubber bands and other office supplies they are good. I also have stored the equipment form several cameras in the drawers. The drawers come with a labeling card. The cabinet looks very good with the other furniture. The stain is rather thin on some parts of the cabinet especially on the corners. It's something I can live with.
Roomy and classy looking
Comments about Product: This looks terrific. Has a very solid, hardwood look that blends well with my decor. The individual cubbies slide out easily. The case is sturdy and not tippy. Comes with labels you can print to label the cubbies. I got the light oak and it blends well with my golden oak fireplace surround in my family room. Keeps the stacks of CD's and DVD's organized and hidden, yet easy to find. Solid but light enough(when empty) that I could shift it into place solo.
Serves it purpose well
Comments about Product: Am satisfied with the purchase, but was disappointed in the overall quality of construction for the price. Would not have purchased the cabinet if I had seen it in the store, but it stores my CD's in a small footprint so is useful.
GREAT ITEM BUT BE AWARE FOR DVDs...
Comments about Product: I do love this cabinet becasue it is interesting looking and not the ordinary black pressed fiber board and glass item that functional peices sometimes are. BUT storing DVDs in there in their native box/container is not realistic. They would be hard to get in and out of the drawer, harder to see and chose in the drawer, and only 4 or so would fit in each drawer. I simply have moved all my DVDs to clear CD jewel cases. Takes less space and then files in the drawer perfectly. Not a big deal to me and infact I like the pairing down to a simpler system BUT I think you should know this before you buy. Quality is great, nice finish in walnut, assembled and REAL furniture. Very nice!

By Happy to have drawers!
Comments about Product: Love this product! If you need a nice looking storage space that doesn't take up much room with style, this is for you! I use it for organizing photos, office supplies, and garden seed packs. I also use it for the CD purpose. I like that the top drawers remove so you can see what is in them. Just do not drop it because the front piece can split.
love this item
Comments about Product: Very well built will be using this for craft items.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
