A good product, but.......
from New Jersey
The bench on the website was white - the one that arrived was an avocado green. It was still very pretty so I kept it. It was fairly easy to assemble once I got past the fact that the screws and their drilled holes didn't match up. On the bottom bar that runs under the seat - both ends are open. Not a good idea - it would be a good nesting place for bees - you should consider putting those plastic caps on the end - that would work nicely. I stuffed some steel wool into the holes to prevent any unwanted stinging insects. I would have liked it better if it was white, but the avocado green is pretty too. All said and done - it looks pretty in my backyard - which is fairly large and has a park-like appearance.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice retro bench - but
from The Villages, Florida
I put the bench on the front porch - it's just the right size. Looks really nice - Just the right touch of whimsy. However, it moves just slightly from side to side. Maybe 2 more braces from the rear seat bottom to the opposite front leg (maybe a scrolled "x" design, like the armrest) would give the bench a more sturdy feeling when seated.

The flange to the bottom brace was welded the wrong direction. We were able to slowly bend it so that we could attach the brace. We hope that it will hold.
