Comments about Product: I place my bench in our newly "Sodded" backyard. It was placed Between a tall bush and a big maple Tree. It looked like it had always been there. Besides if your at our kitchen sink and looking out our window there it sits. So calm and so inviting and very pleasing to the eyes. I would recommend to my friends to look at all the others benches because they too are great. Well Okay if they like.
Comments about Product: I purchased this bench for a small area in our yard under a large pine tree. The scale is perfect and its retro look reminds me of my grandparents' yard. Assembly was simple and quick. The only drawback is the incomplete welds. There are gaps which will allow rain water to get into the tubular frame and has the potential to rust out. A little clear silicone caulk will remedy this.
Comments about Product: Really cute, looks great in my flower garden. The red paint looks pretty sloppy and isn't "jewel" like but looks okay from a distance. It was easy to put together, and is comfortable to sit on. There was a tiny shard of metal on the backrest that I didn't discover until it snagged my shirt! Overall I love it and would buy it again.
Comments about Product: The bench on the website was white - the one that arrived was an avocado green. It was still very pretty so I kept it. It was fairly easy to assemble once I got past the fact that the screws and their drilled holes didn't match up. On the bottom bar that runs under the seat - both ends are open. Not a good idea - it would be a good nesting place for bees - you should consider putting those plastic caps on the end - that would work nicely. I stuffed some steel wool into the holes to prevent any unwanted stinging insects. I would have liked it better if it was white, but the avocado green is pretty too. All said and done - it looks pretty in my backyard - which is fairly large and has a park-like appearance.
Comments about Product: I put the bench on the front porch - it's just the right size. Looks really nice - Just the right touch of whimsy. However, it moves just slightly from side to side. Maybe 2 more braces from the rear seat bottom to the opposite front leg (maybe a scrolled "x" design, like the armrest) would give the bench a more sturdy feeling when seated.
