Comments about Product: I love the way this frog looks, BUT, I have him sitting on the edge of my spa and when it rained it rusted and left a rust ring on the spa.
I wouldn't put it directly on the patio, edge of a pool, or spa...

What A Great Frog!
Comments about Product: He is not as large as his colorful cousin the "Coffee Drinking Frog," but he's just as colorful and has just as much personality! The fact that he comes with so many accessories (I bought the extra set as well) more than makes up for his smaller size. This frog is ready for any occasion or holiday! Love this guy!
Comments about Product: A most delightful addition to any pond. The figure is sizable and well constructed. The ability to change his attitudes is well accomplished by the 4 attachments.
If you're a pond person, this for you. The ability to change his role in your pond gives you the ability to easily play with the creativity of this garden sculpture.
Comments about Product: I bought 2 of these cutie frogs; one for home and one for our place up north. Adds a wonderful bit of whimsy to the yard. I have mine properly holding the American flag! Some people complained about him falling over easily. HINT: There is an opening on the bottom, put several large size rocks inside and he WON'T topple over! Works like a charm! My 2 have not taken one tumble to date!
Cute and Whimsical
Comments about Product: I bought this piece and put it out on a rock by my pond. It looks great...even better than pictured. It's good-sized and really adds some fun to the landscape. I highly recommend this purchase!
Comments about Product: This really is a cute frog, I love all the interchangeable accessories that came with him/her. I have tried to place him on an side table on our deck, but he is too front heavy, especially with the lilypad..not sure what to do about this but I will find something! Otherwise, I do love his colorful demeanor, along with my other frogs from Plow and Hearth!

Cute and colorful!
Comments about Product: Gave this to my daughter - we all like it a lot. I might buy for myself if it goes on sale, but I do think it is a bit expensive for what it is.

A Great Addition to My Garden!
Comments about Product: My frog is now perched on a log and waving the flag in anticipation of Flag Day on Friday and the upcoming birthday of our nation. I have numerous frog decorations scattered throughout my gardens, and this one is an exceptional addition.

Very cute frog!
Comments about Product: I love this whimsical frog sitting on the stone border of my garden. It is really cute and funny and I get many comments on it. I also have the the frog with the coffee cup and that one is larger. I only wish this one was larger. They do rust over time and you may have to touch up the paint if you place them out in the weather. This one has really good shiny colors.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
