Natural-Looking, All-Weather Design

Hang these realistic gourds and the ever-popular martin will make its way to your yard. The One-Piece Gourd features a single room and is easy to hang. The Two-Piece Gourd comes in an eight-pack and features a snap-together design for easy cleaning as well as a crescent-shaped, starling-resistant hole. Both are durable plastic for years of use, with bottom drain hole and off-white color for inside temperature control.

Our telescoping, galvanized steel Pole Kit has four aluminum rods to display eight gourds on two tiers; ground socket, key locks and all hardware included.

Didn't get the rods to hang gourds on, and have been told they will be sent, but we need to get it set up now, so we are waiting, hoping we don't miss the chance to get the martins started.

Gourd Good, Pole Must Go

After originally ordering the Gourd and Pole SET, I was very disappointed at the gourds that came. They were two pieces. After many calls,P&W then sent me 8 one-piece gourds. Excited, I go to set up the pole and it was missing pieces, missing the coupler, crack in the plastic, and the bag with the parts was someone's old Ziploc bag. Obviously this had been returned before. I missed out on this season's purple martins. I am returning everything!!!

I am using it as my Martin house,although I also have a lot of tree swallows that have taken over a section of my gourds....I had to use my glue gun to keep my gourds from opening....it took some doing to get these together..I put the glue on just to keep it from opening,I wasn't going to take any chances...but it works and the glue comes apart easy if I want to take. It apart

I was so disappointed when I was putting together the gourds. First, the description in the catalog made it sound as if the gourds were one piece. They are NOT! They were two pieces so I thought it wouldn't be too bad. WRONG! They did not stay together securely, and the sides were popping open with cracks. They say that can happen if you tighten the screw too tight. It happened no matter how tight the screw was.

I called and they are replacing the two piece gourds with the one piece gourds as described in the catalog. I am waiting for their arrival and hope that they do not get here after the scouts have declared their turf.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Very nice for the price. Looks durable with the right features to attract Martins. Little difficult snapping together but some pressure in the right place did the job. Got it fully installed in about an hour and now we will wait for the birds to show up.
