Comments about Product: I was so excited for UPS to show up with my glider for our new Enclosed Porch Addition.
But, disappointed that this chair is for a really slight person, which I am, but not for guests, especially men. Also, not wild about the glider mechanism, which goes click, click with each movement. Think I am going to have to exchange. It looks super nice though.
Beautiful but really small
Comments about Product: I like the chair, the way it's constructed, the color. looks very rich BUT it's so tiny. I'm 5'2" and the seat is to short for me. I can't imagine men trying to sit on them, I'm very sorry to have to return it,

Comments about Product: I purchased the Prospect Hill Furniture in Nov., 2010, and love the furniture. I also purchased cushions then. They were great, thick foam and firm. I loved that cushion so much, I decided to change the Color for the chair and glider, so ordered New Cushions. The new cushions are so thin you can actually bend the cushion, nothing like the original ones. When you sit down in the chair, the cushion slides forward and can actually feel the chair seat. Also, The cushion is so flimsy that when I place a throw pillow on the seat, the cushion slides forward!!! Very Disappointed!
Awesome patio furniture!
Comments about Product: Very relaxing--smooth gliding mechanism. Not for very large sized people. I bought two rockers and one glider swing and a table for my porch.

Prospect Hill Chair Glider
Comments about Product: Excellent value, perfect size for a smaller area. Quite comfortable.
Mediocre at best
Comments about Product: Both seat size and glide motion considered inferior
Love this furniture!!!
Comments about Product: Purchased this set six years ago and it still looks brand new. Love the set and continued to add pieces to it with great satisfaction. Everyone that visits comments on how beautiful it is . We have a large family and its durable and easily cleaned.
Comments about Product: I love how it matches the Prospect Hill table in design. It is just the right size to fit between two rocking chairs I purchased. Fits well on a small porch area.
Comments about Product: Just received part of my set (chair and end tables) and I am pleasantly suprised. I was worried because it was so light that it was not well made, but it is very sturdy and attractive. Love what I received so far, waiting for the settee, chair and coffee table to arrive.

Perfect for Us
Comments about Product: The glider arrived promptly and fit the space on our covered patio/porch perfectly. We have enjoyed using it and have had several compliments on it.
Comfortable and durable
Comments about Product: Liked these pieces so much I bought them twice. One for outside;one for great room.
Rich and sturdy in looks and feel.
Comments about Product: I am using the setee for an outdoor porch effect in a sitting area of my house. It sets off the antique ice cream churn and watering cans, quilts and such. Everyone loves sitting in the gliders.
Smooth out the back!
Comments about Product: VERY nice product. Exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable EXCEPT I had to order two settee cushions to use one against the back because the wicker pattern in the center-top of the back was VERY uncomfortable to lean back on, so another cushion actually took care of that, altho' it really takes up the leg space. I'm short so it works for short people. I decided to keep it because it was very comfortable otherwise and very nice-looking. Guess I'd prefer it if it didn't have that pattern on the back.

Beautiful, tranquility-producing gliders
Comments about Product: You've heard of "Easy Rider"? Now meet "easy glider"! The constructiion of this glider set is so sturdy that it facilitates peace-inducing gliding. The light brown color matches the redwood color variations of my new deck and brings its decor into harmony. I also bought the chaise and two end tables which add to the coziness of the deck. It's like having an outdoor living room! Thanks, Plow & Hearth.

I would not buy this furniture
Comments about Product: Very well made, but much too small a scale - a 5'11" male (like me) would feel cramped for space in both the chair glider & the love seat glider.
Comments about Product: comfortable, durable, attractive
It is quality construction.
Comments about Product: It is very charming. It is currently in my atrium overlooking the gardens. Great seating to relax and watch the birds.
Comments about Product: needs an ottoman to go with the set

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
