The chair and ottomans are fine - went together easily, feel secure. The couch is a totally different story. Unstable, wobbly, creaks and cracks when people sit on it, etc. Always hold my breath when a "larger" person sits down or when more than 2 people sit on it at once. There is a support piece that goes in the middle of the couch that doesn't fit properly (we've taken then couch apart twice to start completely over to make sure we're doing it correctly) and has broken off once already (only 2 months old). The part that supports your back is very loose. The deep seating on both the couch and chair are way too deep. We have to supplement the cushions with new pillows and lumbar supports. Shorter people can't even touch the ground with their feet when they are sitting all the way back. Very uncomfortable - too much work trying to make it work. All in all, not satisfied at all, but it's too large to ship back so we're stuck.

I bought this sofa so we could stretch out while reading on our porch. It works fine for that. As advertized, it is deep seating--too deep. The back of the sofa slants too far backwards-almost like a recliner. Even after adding a row of pillows in front of the pillows provided, my husband, 5'9'', finds himself leaning too far back. I'm 5'4", and feel like a little kid sitting on a too big sofa-my knees don't reach the edge. The pillows are very thick, but too firm for our taste. With such thick bottom pillows, you are seated too high to place your arm comfortably on the side arm rest. The polyester pillow fabric is a coarse weave that is not comfortable on the skin. I bought the stone color, which is more yellowish than tan. Overall, I don't think the sofa is well designed. It is "workable" but far from great.

Like the depth of the couch and chair, but the back is too low. Comes to mid-back - you'll want to purchase pillows to prop up your neck.

Overall, it's perfect for a couple or small gathering. Easy to assemble.

We searched high and low for a patio set to meet our needs but couldn't find anything we liked. We went to the Plow and Hearth Outlet outstide Charlottesville, VA and saw this wonderful set and knew that we had to have it. I ordered on-line [...] It was very easy to assemble so we were able to enjoy our new patio set within hours of receiving it. Great purchase.

These chairs are great! My husband and I are plus size and finding a decent outdoor chair that we could be comfortable in was a challenge. We have two of the deep seat chairs and just got an end table to complete our wish list. The cushions are plush and comfortable. The eucalyptus has a beautiful look to it, very sophisticated, high quality and sturdy. The only thing that might be nice is a higher back version that you could lean your head back on. That would be perfect for that extra level of comfort.

Beautifully constructed coffee table and just the perfect height. Matches with a bench we purchased locally. We,also, purchased a chair from Plow and Hearth making it a very nice set for our patio.

I bought this sofa, two chairs and an ottoman. All pieces are easy to assemble, however a piece on the sofa hand to be cut down to make the back section more stable - I had to hire someone to do that. I was attracted to the deep seating sofa to be able to take naps on the porch. The sofa will be better for naps than to sit upright on. As with the chairs, I find these a bit too deep, and I am six feet tall. I do get compliments on the appearance of the set.

I'm tall and thought that deep seating would be comfortable. These chairs are a little too deep for me. I need at least one lumbar pillow. The seat backs creek when someone flops into the chair and I wonder if they will eventually break.

The round coffee table is perfect. It is the right size-neither too small nor too large-for our patio and seating group. The height is perfect!

The large size of the ottoman is good, however, the cushion is not affixed to the frame. Anytime one moves the cushion falls off. A strap to connect the cushion to the frame is definitely needed!

I was only disappointed that several wooden plugs were missing but a call to Plow and Hearth was made and replacements were mailed. I did buy pieces from this group 2 years ago and noted that the stain on the newer pieces is darker and the framework is slightly different, i.e., straight rather than curved, and slightly thinner than the older pieces.

Sofa is large enough and supportive enough for an afternoon nap.
Back cushions can be removed to provide an extra bed for guests.
We use this sofa in our 3 season room - it provides extra seating
in a small space.

I purchased a similar product from Plow and Hearth years ago (and still use it). I developed a need for another love seat so I purchased this one. I liked the variety of cushion fabrics. The old ones have held up very well even when left out in the rain. The loveseat is very comfortable for taking naps and hanging out. They are my favorite place in nice weather! I also found it easy to assemble by myself - well maybe a little tricky by yourself but I managed to put it together pretty quickly without damaging it or myself...
