It was hard to find a sturdy rack that was short enough to store under our garage coat and hatrack and hold a good supply of wood handy to the house. I do not use it near the fireplace but could if I end up storing larger supplies near the house, so I know it can do double duty as lifestyle changes. I expect to have it for may years to come as it is very sturdy and attractive.
