I got one as a gift for my sister, who has had some experience with flimsy aluminum ones, and she says they can't hold a candle to this one. The kids enjoy making their own toasted cheese sandwiches and toasted peanut butter and jelly. We have friends who have six kids, and they always take their pie irons camping as well.
