I looked and looked for the perfect gazing ball for my Herb Garden. I found it here at Plow and Hearth. The price was right, the ball is stainless steel so it won't break and I can leave it out all year.

I bought this at the same time as I purchased the Glow-in-the-dark gazing ball and wish I had bought another color of this one instead. The one that is supposed to glow is totally plain in the day and doesn't glow at all at night while this one looks very pretty in my gardens. If I had it to do over, I'd buy a red steel ball like this blue one and FORGET the plain-Jane one that doesn't do what it is advertised to do!

I really,really like this!! It is the second I have purchased. One is in a large potted plant on the back cornor of our pourch. If we are sitting at the side of the house; we can see if anyone pulls in or comes to the side door.My great grandaughter (1&1/2 yrs.) likes to watch her face move in close to it and laughs at the different looks she sees! Fog around it at Halloween time gives a spooky, mysterious look.

I wish the "Mystic" colors were brighter. We live in an area with high winds, the stainless steel ball works perfectly for us. We do not have to worry about it breaking like glass would if it should get dislodged from the ground stake.

I received the mystic ball for Christmas and just put it outside this spring. Already the coating is flaking off. For the price I thought it would hold up outdoors. I am disappointed with this product.

I had pruchased this ball for my daughter last year. When I mentioned that I had gotten one for a friend. She told me that the one I had gotten for her had faded to silver. Making the color permanent would be a good thing. I'll not purchase another one.
