The elfin door was the beginning of a Gnome garden. I have since gotten the windows to go with it. Everyone loves them, kids and adults. Many have asked where I got them and, of course, I gave them your website!

Fades in the sun. If you want these to last suggest you place in shade AND display them only in the summer.

Comments about Plowhearth Elfin Tree Door And Accessories:
Your website is off the mark. In two places on each page for the listed item is not what you receive with the order. If fact you get less then what is bargain for. Picture shows three items. Main Description says door but you get windows. In small print it really shows what you will get. Very misleading. Even your rep said the same thing. It cost 33% more to get what we wanted.

I purchased as a gift for my mom who wanted to add to her fairy garden. It was perfect - she loved it.
Cute and Whimsical
from Bay Area CA
We attached this to an old oak in our backyard and the grandkids love it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has a saw tooth hanger on the back that neither lends itself to mounting to the tree nor allows it to stay on the tree securely. We had to reattach it more than once with screws.

About Me High-end Shopper
Absolutely adorable concept. My daughter is convinced a fairy lives inside and I just love listening to the conversation she has with her fairy as she sits by the door & chats with her. However, the one BIG negative is that the light is poorly designed. Water flows into the battery door which is positioned at the top of the light, without an adequate seal. The light stops operating as soon as rainfall hits it. Still, an adorable product, but don't bother with the light unless you are OK with it not working.

Deteriorated after some use
I put the door, windows, and hanging light on the side of a tree that was located in mostly shade. It received no direct sunlight. The light failed with the first rainstorm. Within about 8 months of using the other pieces, the color faded, and the plastic broke down. Also, although these come with hangers, they won't stay on. So, we had to improvise using thin wire to secure them. Cute product, but didn't last. I wouldn't consider these to be weather-proof.
Amusing garden accent but we live in CO

Really amusing, granddaughters liked it - however because of the Colorado sun, even though it has been affixed to a big tree (lots of shade) it is still bleached.

I placed both elf door one and the one for Wizard on our front yard trees. Everyone smiles and says "They are really cute and magical!"
Magic garden essentials

We added these to an old oak tree in our backyard. With the Reading Fairy sitting in a branch above, they create a magic corner for our grandchildren and their friends. It's not unusual to see a little one peering in the windows, trying to see if magic creatures live in the tree.

The product was a gift, which is a "cute" idea; however, I had SPECIFICALLY requested that the product be sent to my business address: [@], KCMO 64112, and it was sent to my HOME address which is where the giftee resides ! So, he knew IMMEDIATELY what was in the delivery !! ..gifts with NO surprises, unacceptable !!!

This is a second purchase for me. I bought the windows and door along with the wizard door set two years ago. When my grandchildren came for a visit they were captivated. So I bought them again [...] The family just loves them and everyone who sees them compliments them. The curve of the door would fit just about any tree though you might have to secure the windows with an extra screw. The squirrels in my yard tend to knock them off.

I've had one for years in an inconspicuous place that seems to delight folks when they finally see it. This one was for a friend who just got her own place and was working on a garden. She loved it!

I will use this door for display in my garden. I am very happy with my purchase, have not had any experience with what it will be like thru weather etc. but am very pleased with everything so far. [@]

Before I even had a chance to place this elf door outside, I noticed that the front "door" material had developed a hole. Closer inspection indicated the top layer is very thin and delicate...a ridiculous product to be marketed for outside!!!
The cutest little thing

adorable but handle with care
from Boston, MA
Adorable and whimsical, but the quality could be improved. Bought the elf door & windows, along with the christmas door for the holidays. Am only using the door. Would like more if it were real wood so it's more durable and not as kitschy looking within close view. One of the windows broke when I dropped it (upon opening!) so never bothered with the other one. Suppose I could try glue. All this said, it's a cute idea. I just wouldn't enthusiastically recommend to a friend.
