I was so excited when I ordered the Topiary Tree with Lighted Base; I was even more excited when I opened the box. I was pleased with how natural the pinecones and red berries looked and the Moravian Star is gorgeous! I placed it on my console table in my foyer and I'm constantly getting comments on how beautiful it is.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A Bit Cheesey for the Price

The "star" inside the faux wood base, illuminating through the cheesey, shoddily-installed windows, is just a bunch of small lights strung around the base of the tree & held together with a rubber gripper...it does look sort of like a star when lit.

The branches are very fake looking. The base is 10 1/2" high, making the tree itself 19.5" in case anyone was wondering.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
