Hoped it would help heat the room which it doesn't do much. Realistic looking when the room is dark but the power light in the top right corner gives it away as being fake.

Love this!

We have a fireplace that had a large candle display insert and we wanted something that actually generated some heat. Since we can't make our mind up about getting a real gas insert yet we found this item and it's great. Warm and it looks great sitting inside the fireplace.

I have a wood burning fireplace that I didn't want to use anymore, but still wanted to have the ambiance of a fire. This fits perfectly inside the fireplace and does the trick. The heat doesn't seem to be very effective, but it serves the purpose I wanted it for. It looks very nice!

The box came with th efireplace screen but was missing 2 screws for the middle part that you sctrew on?? The dcres for the side scrolly parts were included and being a single woman that isn't the simplest thing to buy--so I didn't put the middle pc on--not sure what' it does anyway??Helen
